FIFA has decided to put back the closing date for the 2013 Ballon d’Or voting period until next 29th November. This period had run out last Friday, but the world’s maximum football authority has decided to grant the extension in order to take into account the play-offs for the World Cup.
This 9th December the names of the three candidates for the Ballon d’Or will be announced, as well as the three finalists for the Puskas award (the year’s most spectacular goal), the Fair Play award and the Best Football Manager award.
That day, FIFA will also make public the names of the finalists for the women’s categories, as well as the names of the 15 pre-selected names that will form part of the eleven ideal players for FIFA FiFPro World XI.
