Uhmmm, actually trust for the most part is just so that you can sleep well at night. That you trust someone really doesn't mean the person will not cheat. There are a lot of factors that will prevent a person from cheating; stuff like contentment, having a strong character and conscience that can withstand temptation and the absence of temptation itself, and all these require the grace of God, so PRAY that you and your partner don't lose focus

Of course it happens. I'm not denying that, but when they are far away, they could easily create a whole new life with another person. They could have that person sleepover every night, cook, clean and they can easily go out in public without any fear of running into familiar faces.

Listen, I'm one of those people who likes to be realistic about these situations. Being delusional got me nothing but a broken heart. People need to become a little smarter.

With the help of technology and social media, cheating has gotten worse. Long distance relationship can work, but will be hard to maintain. But again, it all depends how far you are from each other and how often you see each other.

As I mentioned earlier, 2 VERY dedicated individuals can make it work.

A person who attributes so much to s*x or lacks control/not disciplined will always cheat..also an idle/jobless person because it gives room for certain things/thoughts

No I haven't been a victim. I was in one and I ended it. It simply was too hard for me and him to deal with, but of course we didn't want to admit it. But, me being a realistic person, I had to bring up to him. I was a bit sad, but not heartbroken because it was the right thing to do. As I mentioned in my previous posts, it can work, but both parties must be highly dedicated to the success of the relationship.

I wouldn't say "emotional" type. But, I think I do prefer the idea of living in the same town/city as my man.

my own advice ....


av been there before and I know what it means to be in a LDR.
my advice are...

1. don't accept second class behaviour from ur gf..

she raise her voice on u,insult u cos she is angry etc..
just tell her to stop it cos u don't like it. u can use the word please just to sound polite.
2. don't be predictable
avoid saying the same thing each time u call or talk on Skype.
like what did u do today ,the next day u keep asking the same thing..
try out new things. there are lots of other things to talk about
3. don't be needy
don't be in a rush to pick her calls,reply her text ..girls know how to do this..
some guys can call a girl for more than 15 times or text if she doesn't reply..

u can do it this way.. there is nothing like its the guy/girl that suppose to call most in a relationship,so text her only when she has reply ur last text (just an opinion) it won't mk u look needy
4 continuous using of the word I LOVE YOU

u can use other words like I ADORE U,I CHERISH U..
if u use the word I LOVE U often,it will lose it value in the relationship..
some guys can call a girl for 10 times and say the word 20 times..

5 don't promise eternal love..
using the word I want to marry u,I'll spend my life time with u.
love is perishable..
remember when u said that to ur ex?
always use the word IF WE
if we be together we will get married etc
