I have observed with dismay how Sub-Sahara Africa are so pious in their religious beliefs but ironically how this cannot be translated to good morals and improved ethical values. The more we are religious, the more corrupt we are.

Throw in Armenia and Ukraine for good taste. Christians don't particularly like such 'Islamocracies' but like to use them to show religion doesn't equal undevelopment. But in Nigeria, religious superstition and corruption (eg trying to please a pastor with tithe from stolen money) are a huge bane in our society.

So what is really wrong with the African version of religion? People are very religious in Africa, could it be that countries like Saudi Arabia, UAE, Ukraine etc. do not merit "heaven "?
