Association of Nigerian Graduates Against Unemployment was set up to break the chain of unemployment ravaging the country. It is a voice to the unemployed graduates in Nigeria and cuts across the 36 states of the federation

THE MISSION
To provide and aid provision of unemployment and empowering functional al entrepreneurial skill among graduates as well as promoting the benefits of Agriculture and Industrialisation among graduates

THE VISION
To be an excellent center in reducing poverty by combating unemployment

The solution to the reduction of unemployment begins with us, we are not an anti government group.
We are only orchestrating the government to provide jobs for the unemployed Nigerian graduates as well as creating an enabling environment for graduates who chooses to embrace entrepreneur as well as helping the Nigerian graduate change his or her typical belief system and start developing skills early enough to add value to himself and the society at large.

It is time to tell the Nigerian government to stop wasting public funds and start channelling it to the right course by promoting Agriculture and Industrialisation in the country.

REASONS WE NEED TO WAKE UP

Between Jan to August 2013, the total crude oil sales was $20billion where as NNPC only remitted $7billion while the rest of $13 billion can't be accounted for and this had been an annual occurrence since the last seven years. Yet just $9 billion is needed to construct a standard refinery that will offer 9500 direct jobs and over 2500 indirect jobs. Nigeria, I hail thee.

With the oil money and other resources God has endowed us with, why is the
majority still languishing in poverty.

Our law makers receive not less than eight million naira monthly which is enough to employ 444 workers monthly on a minimum wage of #18000

The salary of the 360 law makers in the house of representative can conveniently be used to provide jobs for 160,000 Nigerians on the minimum wage.

The cost of maintaining the ten air planes in the presidential fleet annually is 9 billion naira which will easily send more than 1.4 million Nigerian children to public primary schools annually.

ASUU had been on strike for over four months, our refineries are not functioning, yet some government agencies and
ministers were wasting money acquiring armoured and bullet proof vehicles for hundreds of million naira.

It is so bad that government can pay #118.9 billion to ghost workers yet find it difficult to meet the demands of ASUU.

If Aliko Dangote can single handedly propose constructing a refinery which will cost $9 billion and produce 400,000 barrels of oil per day then what is the Federal Government doing. This refinery alone will create 9500 direct jobs and over 25000 indirect jobs when completed.

The politics of Nigeria has changed from serving the country to serving self's.

WHAT WE MUST DO TO STOP. GOVERMENT FROM WASTING. PUBLIC FUNDS

Firstly, we need to agree there is a problem at hand.
Secondly we need to join hands in combating unemployment by supporting ANGAU, preaching ANGAU to all.
Fellow Nigerian graduates, the time has come to make a change because we can see the distance of the journey
Its time to stop addressing the symptoms of Nigeria's challenges and launch a full attack on the virus itself called CORRUPTION.
Let us not give them an opportunity to call us fools anymore.
Its time to flush away corrupt leaders and corrupt practices from this great nation.
Its time to make our leaders accountable to us. We have too much to do to sit on the fence. It begins with YOU, YOU and I.
Together WE CAN.
Remember that the value of a broom is to sweep, but when it is disorganised it can't sweep anything and its useless if its not tied together.
Nigeria is the most populous black nation but remember that population might is useless unless if the people decides to come together and act in unison to achieve their goal so therefore we need you to step out of the gray twilight into the bright sunlight so that we all, can see the dawn of a new day.
O sleeping giants, arise from your slumber. Let's say NO to job sales,
Let's say NO to frivolous job requirements.
Let's say NO to corrupt practices.
