Lecturers in the University of Lagos have issued a one week ultimatum for ASUU to call off its 5months old strike or they might be forced to resume by Tuesday, 2nd Dec . They also accused the national body of deliberately sabotaging the educational development of Nigeria and urged it to address future challenges with dialogue rather than resolve to incessant strikes. With the reports of universities wanting to resume if ASUU fails to call off the strike soon,I doubt if ASUU will continue to exist after finally and generally calling off the strike. |

Unfortunately, these guys are never united. Why waste their students precious time when they knew they were not willing to get the issues resolved? Government has reasons to take them as unserious. |
