i know that there are alot of music better this but let choose which one is more emotional

1.   Run away love      by  Ludacris and Mary J
2.   Two wrong           by  Wyclef and cladiette
3.   Blame it on me     by  Akon
4.   Hope                    by  Twista and faith evans

Poster, I love the point you're trying to make here but methinks you should try and be more expressive, i.e. express yourself better.

Back to post, all those songs are a waow!!! on the emotional side of things but on the very deeper level, I'll eliminate "Two Wrongs", then "Hope" *man, that was really difficult for me though, I just closed my eyes and did the darn thing*. It's a close tie between "Blame It On Me" and "Runaway Love" but I think Akon's soulful voice/tone on that track would arrest your mind, soul, heart and spirit at first hearing, even before you listen to the lyrics cool *that silly guy*
Re: Which One Is Emotional by iice(f): 8:16am On Jul 23, 2008
Don't like the blame on me track - don't find it emotional.
Hope is the one i find emotional in the sense of it being sunny undecided
Re: Which One Is Emotional by Bamsyle(m): 8:49am On Jul 23, 2008
lol iice, maybe it's cos the reason for that song was his misbehaviour undecided
Re: Which One Is Emotional by iice(f): 9:04am On Jul 23, 2008
Yup - his apology. I find it just dry jare. He has better songs than that.
Re: Which One Is Emotional by Bamsyle(m): 9:15am On Jul 23, 2008
Really the guy was silly yo.

Better songs like urm, "Ghetto", "Lonely", "It Don't Matter"?

Generally, I just prefer the sorrowful side of the guy. He pisses me off when he tries to do party stuff like "Belly Dancer", "AK (Gunshot)", "Smack That".

Methinks his voice is better suited for sad songs.
Re: Which One Is Emotional by iice(f): 9:25am On Jul 23, 2008
lol. He no doubt can put a vibe into a song.
But true, i prefer him doing those sorrowful songs - it resonates.
Nah don't like 'it don't matter', i did when i got the album for like 3 days then i wasnt feeling it again.

I prefer 'Never took the time'.
And i like 'In your eyes' - probably because i was living on the beach for almost 2 months and it was one of the songs that was in my player.
Re: Which One Is Emotional by Bamsyle(m): 9:36am On Jul 23, 2008
Hated "It Don't Matter" from the word go. I refused to buy the album cos of that song.

Just like all other artistes, it seems his style kinda changed with time. Dude evolved from the sorrowful era of "Ghetto", "Locked Up"*didn't really feel that anyway* "Trouble Nobody" et al into the club-banging era of "Belly Dancer" and stuff.

So, how was life on the beach - for 2 months?
Re: Which One Is Emotional by iice(f): 9:46am On Jul 23, 2008
lol its inevitable that artists will evolve. Sometimes its money wise, sometimes its trends and what one thinks people want to hear. Other times its creativity.
Hah! seriously you didnt buy the album because of that song? Sometimes i end up liking only one or two songs of an album but i still keep them, just to see if it will grow on me after sometime.

grin Can't understand that huh? am a water baby, and it was awesome!! tongue
Re: Which One Is Emotional by Bamsyle(m): 10:03am On Jul 23, 2008
You're right on that.

I also get to like one or two songs of an album but I'll mos def buy an album if I like 4 out of say 15 tracks. If a song's so good it casts a spell on me, I go to them DJs and do my selection or mix jeje grin grin

You mean you stayed in a beach house or sumn? Wonderful experience that was.
Re: Which One Is Emotional by iice(f): 10:10am On Jul 23, 2008

Pac's Still I Rise always appears on my Top 10 List of Emotional Songs. "Life Goes On". Then, "Smile" with Scarface.

DMX's "Slipping" undecided

R. Kelly's "Heaven I Need A Hug" undecided

More to come.
Re: Which One Is Emotional by Bamsyle(m): 10:41am On Jul 23, 2008
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony - "Tha Crossroads"

Mary J. Blige feat. Methodman - "You're All I Got" (later Biggie's "My Downfall")

Don't know why but to deviate from the rap trend I got all up there, "Fantasy" by Mariah Carey always gives me emotional shivers.

Re: Which One Is Emotional by Bamsyle(m): 4:32pm On Jul 24, 2008
Not really that I like rock but Cranberries just engage me anytime, especially with that Zombie song. First time I heard it was around the late 90s and it was so captivating. I love Delores' verses/voice kiss

Haven't heard the intro you mentioned but I'll listen and get back @ ya wink
