Abideem Memorial College is well known far nd near around the city of Lagos because of its qualified teachers, an elaborate nd well equiped laboratory, good sporting facilities, poultry farm and many other.
The school had a vast compoud secured with concrete fence. In front of the school gate was a huge signboard written ABIDEEM MEMORIAL COLLEGE with the picture of Veronica and Stephen. Both ex-students of the school. Their names would never be wiped off in the history of the school, due to the glory they have brought to the school.
The school had a big poultry farm where various types of birds were bred especially chicken. The school also had an orchard and 2 acres of farmland where various types of crops are planted. A husky voice which belong to the principal of the school in person of Mr. Ogunnubi.
"There is going to be a football match between our school and Lion of Judah college" So, I want you guys to prepare very well so as to keep our school flag flying, he continued.
Yes, sir. The students replied in unision.
The principal was in his office when a man brought the letter to him. After approving it, he told the time keeper to ring an emergency bell.
On hearing what the emergency bell was all about, the junior students started murmoring because they knew they won't be selected even if u have more dribbling skils than J.J Okocha.

"see those bastards" Maggie said laughing as they settled at the foot of the tree.
"Where are the girls carrying our snacks and drinks?" asked Pactricia but she love being called Pattie.
"Those ones?" They dare not run away with it. Have u guys forgotten? Sandie asked more of a statement. That we are The Great Trio. They all said in unison laughing. Besides, their bags are with me, Maggie said in assurance.
Just then, they saw the two girls walking towards them each student carrying a tray of snacks and three bottles of soft drinks. On getting to where the Trio sat, they knelt down to give their packages to them.
"seniors, our b-a-g" one of the juniors asked. Fear and panic written all over their face.
Go to the back of the poultry farm, your bag is waiting for you there, Maggie said.
"Ha, poultry farm!" the other girl exclaimed.
Kpaa! Kpaa!! Pattie slapped her. "are you crazy, who are you to querry our authority? Get lost!!! She screamed.
We are sorry ma, they both chorused.
My friend, use your ear for what they are for, she said GO!!!. Maggie said. The juniors sprang up as if a bee had just stung them and ran to the poultry.
While the event unfolded, Eniola, an S.S.S. 2 girl stood a distance from them and watched. She was filled with fury and hatred, but what could she do. Nothing, she was just a mere S.S.S 2 girl. Even the school authority could do nothing to The Trio.
"Cross my heart, I'll make sure I show you guys that "The opperessor of today may be the opperessed of tomorrow", she said aloud, but not too loud for The Trio to hear her.
