I'm very new to this forum and would like your invaluable advice on my just refused UK visa application (this afternoon!). I applied for a UK tourist visa last week and got my refusal letter this afternoon. I applied for a 2week vacation, I'm widowed with a son but my son will not be traveling with me. When I checked the stmt that caused the refusal, I discovered it was my October salary from my employer, which is clearly stated in my submitted stmt of acct. Below is what it states.

'The Decision

You have submitted stmts from xxxx bank for an account in your name. However, I note that the balance of this account has been significantly inflated by 2 large cash deposits amounting to NGNXXXX (GBPXXXX) prior to your application. You have not provided any evidence as to the origin of these recent deposits. I am therefore not satisfied that these funds are genuinely available for your use or that your financial circumstances are as stated.

You have stated that your friend Xxxxxxxx is providing accommodation for your visit and I am satisfied that he is able to do so.

In light of all of the above I am not satisfied as to your intentions in wishing to travel to the UK now. I am not satisfied that you genuinely intend a short visit only to the UK and that you will leave the UK at the end of the visit. Furthermore I am not satisfied that you will be able to maintain meet the costs of your return or onward journey from the UK. Paragraph 41 (i) (ii) (vii).

Your right of appeal is limited to the grounds referred to in section 84(1)(c) of the Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002.'

Do I appeal this decision or go for administrative review? What are the steps for either and where do I send it to? I've downloaded the administrative review form.
