Obasanjo did by removing high ranking officers in his first tenure to secure his life

Mind sharing.
She won't even dare going to any function where Amaechi is in attendance. Like Fashola, Amaechi can now caution her on the traffic she causes whenever she visits.

Simply because he joined the APC . . . . grin. Even Fashola can't do more than his usual whines and that's it.

Amaechi will be wise to not over exert himself . . . Not that am supporting PEJ to constitute a nuisance as to the laws of the land.

TRIPLE POST. Sorry.

Also, the member of the state House of Assembly representing Ogu/Bolo constituency, Mr. Evans Bipi, has said Amaechi would be made to account for all that the state received from statutory allocations for the past six years.

Bipi, who was ‘elected’ speaker during the fracas that led to the takeover of the state assembly by the House of Representatives, also warned that any member of the assembly that defects to another party would lose his seat.

In a statement he issued yesterday, Bipi alleged that Amaechi awarded contracts to his political cronies in the APC as a way of funding the party to the overall detriment of the Rivers people.

“I want to assure all of us in the state that by the time we resume seating in the House, governor Amaechi will be summoned to give account of every kobo accruable to the state.

“Let me also say here that any lawmaker who chooses to defect to the APC will have his seat declared vacant and bye-elections would be conducted to fill them up,” he said.
Bipi, former aide to the First Lady, Mrs. Patience Jonathan, also warned the governor to desist from what he described as the governor’s knack for insulting and casting aspersions on the person of Jonathan and his wife.

Hon. Evans Bipi still threating fire and brimstone on Amaechi and on anyone who so much as frown at Dame Patience and the President. Now that amechi has defected all should be back down but it seems this guy is really taking it too personal.

When a man makes too many enemies when he is in power, he goes on exile when he is without powers. Amaechi, always on the news for the wrong reasons. The bank of justice can never go bankrupt, we reap what we sow.

Amaechi is far far more popular and accepted among rivers people than Jonathan, with exceptions of Wike's GDI members whom are paid to do what they are doing and you ibos living in PH. How many governors in Nigeria can trek 4 km barefooted in their state without security?

Amaechi is in firm control of the state. The rivers state indegenes are wiser now; they are only interested in who is bringing dividend of democracy to them. You can only hear "Amaechi is betraying his brother" from ibos and no one else.
lDIOT, speaking.

Amechi is in "Charge"!

I am waiting for the "Media" and our "progressives" to condemn Amaechi for muzzling his own opposition and gagging the Judiciary.

No be Naija we dey?

I pity Amaechi and his supporters in this mad dance of "surugede": it is so obvious that they dont know that Surugede is the dance of "spirits"!

The gov acted based on powers his office is empowered with.
The high court stated that the HOS erred because they weren't given fair hearing. It recognise that the earlier sack was from HOS.
This sack is from gov cheesy grin
A different case entirely. All disgruntled elements should go to court but in the meantime, the orders of the gov has granted by constitution remain. cheesy grin

Am celebrating "u do me, I do u".
That is what is expected in a country whose central govt believes that 5 is greater than 25.
Besides, this action can be tested in the law court, let the aggrieved go.

Actually he does. The act as amended where he got this powers from gave him the exclusive right. Infact the high court judge that re-instated them earlier stated such. This was discussed on air last night.

LG chairman refusal to vacate is no big deal, after all while the council was shut down all these months, it was still operating. No doubt Mbu may not enforce it but as long as the resources of the council passes through the state's then no problem. The chairman can decide to bring in his entire family members into the premises. the council is useless without allocation.

The originator of inpunity itself is Retardeen. so far Amaechi is exercising his powers. Fine, he may not like the chairman and want him gone but hey, its within its constitutional powers. cheesy cheesy grin grin

Will advise the council chairman to kindly go to court if he feels the gov has no such powers or he acted against a court judgement. If Jonathan wants to punish Amaechi, let him do so by not breaking the law of the land, no qualms cheesy cheesy like Amaechi has done to these folks.

On the contrary Alhaji Amaechi should have gone to court rather than acting unconstitutionally.

The LG funds would be deducted from source. In other words Obio Akpor would be getting their allocation direct from Abuja.Amaechi shoud go and die.

I put it to you that Amaechi has no right to sack the LG chair. He has just played into the hands of his adversaries.

figment232: On the contrary Alhaji Amaechi should have gone to court rather than acting unconstitutionally.

Nah, u got it wrong. Amaechi isn't aggrieved. Only the aggrieved (LG chair) goes to court. Amaechi only acted based on powers vested in his office.

Now that is unconstitutional. Why not deduct for all in all states of the federation? What makes obia akpor different?
I have no doubt in my mind that the court will ask these questions. Anyway, let's get to that bridge first. cheesy

U can only put it only to ur self consciousness.
He acted based on laws of the land and he refered to such when the sack came.
The question u should ask ursef is did Amaechi refered to an unexisting law?
I think u are highly aggrieved. Kindly move to the law court biko.
