but why will God give this kind of law in the old testament?

first things we need first to understand is WHEN, WHERE and TO WHOME the lord is giving the law to, and why should he give such Law.

many people till today still capitalize on retaliation and many war going on all over the world can be trace to these statement. but this is what I believe

We need to go back to the life of the people of Israel when they were in Egypt
When the people of Israelite were still in Egypt, they live a life of Jungle justice. they kill and live like the people of Sodom and Gomarah which the lord destroyed. Even let us look at moses, moses also perform Jungle justice when he saw an Egyptians beating an Israelite, He killed him and bury him. the lord knew the Israelite were exposed to this kind of act
this is the reason why the lord tries to regulate their lives, Moreover, God knows human bean are live of flesh and blood, they will surely offend themselves, and to avoid that .
No one has the right to put law into his or her hand.

try to forgive whosoever that offend you so that it will not stand as a stumbling stone before you.
If you fails to forgive your neighbor, God cannot forgive you.
Don't fight back, Don't hate them
always have it in back of your mind that, Driver will drive and Sinners will sin
know that, they are not the one operating, it is the spirit in them.


Stop killing your neighbor in the name of religion, if the government offend you, then go and be fighting the government, why killing innocent souls that don't even know when government were making policy
try to make peace in Nigeria, God will never reward you for killing your neighbor

No, I can read the bible. It says an eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth. I will make sure every Christian and every Muslim knows that only Holy War can bring peace.
