...May Extend Dec 4th Deadline To Call Off Strike President Goodluck Jonathan, Friday night at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) state caucus meeting at the Government House, Yenagoa, has described the strike embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), since July 1 over the non Implementation of a 2009 agreement with the federal government as no longer trade dispute but subversive action. The meeting was presided over by the State party Chairman, Col Samuel Inokoba (rtd). ASUU is claiming that they'll be burying their dead colleague on the deadline given by govt (4th Dec). Perhaps the president may extend the deadline by few days before burying of dead colleague becomes an issue of another ASUU propaganda |
