Associated Fruit Processors:

Processes Apple and Pear fruit into clear apple and pear 70 brix concentrate.
These products are used in a juice as sweetener or base juice. It is also used in other food-stuffs as a natural sweetener.
The product is available in pack sizes of 50 lit, 200 lit, 1 000 lit and bulk containers and can be shipped internationally.

The product is made to the customer’s specifications according to colour, acidity and clarity. It has a shelf life of up to 2 years frozen or 1 year if kept at ambient temperature. The product can be supplied as preserved or un-preserved according to the customer’s unique requirements.

Afripure:

This part of our business takes the 70 brix apple and pear concentrate and “ adds value “ to the product by making it into a fruit juice blend, also called a pre-blend. This will be your typical fruit juices like Orange, Apple, Red Grape, Mango/Orange, and Guava and so on.

This product is made either as a 100% Fruit Juice with no added sugar, or a Nectar juice that allows sugar to be added.

These products are sold to mainly to bottlers that dilute the concentrate with water and bottle it and then sell it under their own brand name to the retail sector. These juices are unique as you can blend as many fruit juices as you need to, to get a specific profile should the customer desire it.

This product is packed and sold in 50 lit, 200 lit, 1 000 lit and bulk as a preserved or un-preserved fruit juice. These juices have a shelf life of up to 2 years from date of manufacture in their concentrated form.

We found that bottlers prefer these “pre-blends” as it limits their risks in terms of stock holding and limits the range of ingredients needed to make their own blend. It also ensures that there are no real profile deviations from batch to batch as and how raw materials change during a season.
