I work with Federal government as an officer and at the same time am about to write my final year exam in a university.
I am thinking of putting down my real age so that i will be exempted from NYSC.
Please my fellow nairalanders, hope exemptn letter will be ok for me in relation to my current job status? And what is the different between NYSC exemption letter by age and discharge certificate

Lolllllllllll. Bro no vex. Since u already have a govt job,don't bother going for nysc its a waste of time,opt for exemption certificate which will be given to u just as ur set is going to camp. But if u have plans of working in the private sector then u'll need the discharge certificate cos they Favour discharge more. But remember private sector are more meticulous,they will check ur birth cert & compare it to when u entered nysc. But since u need ur degree for promotion in ur govt work,just pick up the exemption,nysc na jonzing.

I have a cousin who studied overseas and was 30yrs when he finished his BSc. Abeg, what are his chances of getting an exemption from NYSC?
Do you know anyone who can facilitate this? This cousin of mine needs the certificate urgently, hence is willing to mobilize anyone who can help him procure a verifiable NYSC exemption certificate. A person who provides a good reference will be adequately compensated.
