SENIOR IT TECHNICIAN

Quantity Required: 2

An international British curriculum school in Abuja is looking for a senior Information and Communication Technology (ICT) technicians to manage their modern school ICT facilities at both of their school campuses. Successful candidate will be technical lead and supervisor to 1-2 junior technicians.
Work Hours: 7.30am to 5.30pm daily

Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/computer science or related discipline
- 3 years’ work experience (post qualification)
- Masters degree in related discipline is a plus
- Experience in a similar learning environment is a plus

Recommended Technical Certificates:
- Microsoft Certified within the last 5 years (more than one exam passed)

Technical Competencies required:
- Microsoft Windows Enterprise Network Management
(Server 2008R2/2012, windows 7/8 Professional)
- Microsoft Office 2010/2013 use and support
- HP ML/DL Server maintenance
- Cisco Infrastructure Support/Maintenance
- IPv4 Network troubleshooting and Management
- Moodle Virtual learning Environment support
- School Information management System (SIMS) support
- Maintenance/Support of Interactive whiteboards
- Open Source Software (Linux based)
- Website management/maintenance
