Is the Management same as ASUU? If school resumes and there is no lecturer giving lectures, does that make any sense to management? Abeg, this one no be news because even when ASUU no dey strike, I have witnessed us been in school and yet no activity in the days of Rogers who then we felt was strong and would take no nonsense from anyone.

whyman: Don't fool yourselves. ASUU is very much still on strike. The schools were being opened by the VCs who are political appointees of the government. They were directed by the committee of the VCs and Pro-chancellors. Schools would be reopened but where are the lecturers to teach. In fact the lecturers might be on campus but they won't go to class. Pls, lets beg Oga Jonathan to accept the ASUU conditions which to me are very simple and straight forward for anybody who is [/b]SINCERE[b]. Sign the agreement with the given witnesses - CBN and ATTORNEY GENERAL shikena! Everybody would be happy not not the 180 degrees turn - resume or I sack all of you. Late Gen. Abacha try it even bring soldier to staff quarters to forcefully eject them at the end of the day ASUU won.

Don't tell me u guys are excited over the resumption,nobody shut down schools just dat lecturers withdrew their services so students can resume n hang out,it doesn't make an iota of sense,apparently the strike is still on. Here is my 2kobo of d strike action,ASUU has written 52letters to FG since Feb2012 to June2013 which none was replied n now FG opened d 200bn acct wt CBN for universities rehabilitation on 13th of Nov without writing to ASUU or communicated to them,ASUU got to know about it on d television like every citizen of 9ja knew abt it buh to be more official,expected dey sent a feedback nd ASUU wants its salary arrears paid n d FG is of d opinion dt dey held 13hrs meeting n xpected ASUU to come bck within 2wks. The both parties have got issues,hope God intervenes

I'm pretty sure the news is and only restricted to a rumour.Even the official site of oau is down as at the time of posting this comment. Also,oau's eportal is not disclosing any news.Seriously doubt anything's going on.

whats the point of asking students to come for two weeks lecture and go back home to resume one month later cos of NUGA? why not just fix 18 jan 2014 as resumption date, i really don't know if any lectures will take place while these ASUU members will be planning to go for xmas break at least their 5 month salary and earned allowance arrears will be paid today, kai these people go enjoy this xmas o...
