However, I can say that although these people appear blessed yet most do not enjoy their blessings, true enjoyable blessings with peace of mind comes only from the Lord by His grace even as you bless others around you and right living.

Tithing is not the only way of blessing but we cannot deny that it is working for some people, in the end it is what you believe and convinced by it that works for you.

FOLYKAZE: Op, you are wrong. Though what tithe mean to me could be different from yours. Tithe is the tenth of your produce and not your income. So it involve food, shelter and clothing. This should be directed to the people around you.....not pastors or church leader.

kufre2010: I have been following this man for sometime now. He always place emphasis on tithing in most of his preaching as if u will die if u don't do it or u will be punish for not tithing so tithing now is not voluntary as it is recorded in the bible? In one of his parish one time ago in Eket Akwa Ibom State the pastor then make it compulsory that members give 20% instead of the usual %10.In-fact my father is a Sunday school teacher in another parish he was complaining why the church should contemplate member suspending a member because he did not pay tithe out of the money of a contract that he won. I just think this thing is getting out of hand.

Pastor Kun, am happy 2 say ur teachings about tithing as helped me to know the truth about tithing. Tithing is really a scam forced on Christians by false doctrines. I now understand that it is better I give willing from my heart and not because of a promise of blessing or curse if I decide not 2. Even Jesus said 'give and expect nothing in return'. I will encourage others 2 give from their heart any % that appeals to them and not 10% due to force or fear. I will also give according 2 ow I feel the less privileged need/christian mission needs. If 200,000 naira is my tithe for instance 50,000 naira goes to the church, 100,000 naira will go to orphanage homes, while the remaining 50,000 naira will go to the students in my church who hv needs. Nothing is too small. I can even add to it if i like. Must it be 10%? Why cant it be 9% or 11%?
