The Devil All The Time 7.5/10

It's a sloooow burn. I like slow burns but they tend to pick up the pace when reaching the climax. This one doesn't and that made it a bit of a labour to watch.
The cast carried this movie marvelously. Bill Skarsgard's portrayal of a war veteran dealing with the associated mental issues, Tom Holland's character following his father's descent into darkness slowly, Pattinson's charismatic pastor, Sebastian Stan's crooked cop and his relationship with his wayward sister (Riley Keough).
The prevailing theme of the darkness within the heart of man plays out through the course of the movie, even ensnaring the devout Lenora.
It's a nice enough southern tale that left me pondering a bit about human nature.

P.S: Pattinson's Reverend Preston is one smooth brolosho

I think I've seen that story in animation also. Can't remember whether it's the Killing Joke, where Batsy and Barbara had a thing before Joker fvvked her up.

Lol, Nah, I don't watch action most of the time. Na my Marvel brothers be that one. grin

I watch almost all major genre except very few comedy. Drama Thrillers are my best. grin

Also fantasy.

If the story is good and engaging, why not. I just enjoyed a mystery thriller series The Outsider some days back. And it's the best TV I've watched for the past 2 months, possibly the whole year.

Jokes aside, this move from Scarlett seem opportunistic to me. People that shout stupid rants about streaming and this day and date shït dey taya me at times. This is the reality for the whole of this year. So adapt and live with it. If WB kept pushing GvK and Mortal Kombat I'm sure this greedy fellas and Universal definitely won't release their tentpoles by now, until maybe November/ December. Theatres suffer the most.

She just dey fight for her pocket cos of Black Widow flop at 2nd weekend. She knows that no big money to share now that it's underperformed.
