Genre: Thriller / action

Hmm..This particular movie was so off, the script was damn awful. Firstly, the lady surviving that fall wasn't my problem, my problem was her surviving that tree trunk that struck her through. As if that were not enough salt to injury, she pulled out that tree trunk from her stomach without her bleeding to death, technically, how dumb does the writer think the viewers are. I would have let it slid if only the genre of the movie were SciFi.

Secondly, so after she used the empty plane can of beer to seal her wounds, she magically gets a tattoo on her stomach & back( men I got to try that tattoo insertion technique). Honestly, most Hollywood movies nowadays are totally wack.

The worst part is that Rotten Tomatoes & IMDB, rated it 92% and 6.4/10 respectively & i cant help but be in awe. My 3/10 rating is because of the action scenes, even the language itself was a barrier ( well, tnx to sub).

I lost interest after she survived that tree trunk piercing through her, but I just had to finish it because of the data I wasted downloading it. I don't really understand how a fragile lady suddenly becomes that strong after her survival? Did she get supernatural powers from that tattoo?

strong here is a big understatement, well I wasn't really puzzled on how determined she became after the fall, not that I attribute it to the tatoo giving her powers but cause I think it was the adrenaline that kicked in coupled with her urge to survive because she was aware they were hunting her. And also you'll notice that she was unable to handle the rifle, her 2 kills were as a result of sheer luck & proximity shots.

Thanks for the explanation. Yeah truly, all her kills were lucky kills. I was hoping there is a twist to all that happened that would make it a little bit real that I didn't get....that was why I asked

8.5/10.... I never expected or could predict the very end... I had to wiki after viewing for the first time... 50cents scene with his potential son-inlaw

Yh. The movie had lots and lots of plotholes.

and i also found poe's craziness without consequences befuddling. that fellow was singlehandedly responsible for the decimation of the fleet with his loose cannon antics. at the very least, they should have court-martialled him.

They had the First order breathing down their necks the whole time. I'm sure they'll get to court martialing him eventually

Those things that man gave the guy at the point of entering, and the guy gave the lady which she put in her necklace was what gave her the strength and healing power. That's what I think.

A quiet place is just too boring for me, at a point I thought I was watching a movie acted by deaf and dumb people, I fast forwarded most of the scenes just interested in watching action parts alone which are very few self.

The movie is good...but the way they hyped it here ehh, I expected more. Without the subtitle, only those who understand sign language can make sense of the movie( so technically it's a movie acted by "deaf and dumb people" ).
I love the way it ended though.

den of thieves is a cool movie but that ending part killed the whole movie. How could thieves as clever as they are see a hold up and drive straight to it. making that part so predictable. I know they will be killed and that guy that was handcuffed will escape. so easy
