Doing small things consistently well over a peroid of time prepares you for prominent roles. This is the way real men climb to the top!
Your long awaited next level is possible only if you can be more committed to what you are doing now. Promotion is a function of commitment and fidelity to duties. What you do at the moment are trials of your character and of course pointers to your next level. God wants to see whether you are worthy of higher trusts or not. He wants to know whether you deserve to be brought to greater honours or not.
Let him that sing in the church choir, sing well. Let him that preach the gospel, preach ONLY Christ the crucified. Let's all remain in our duty posts, doing something for our God!
You are not doing God any favour for whatever you do in the Kingdom ... It is for your own benefits!
