I was travelling (ph to owerri)with my friend sometime this month.....as young guys playing music and overtaking (carefully tho) slow vehicles is a normal thing....when we got to a point somewhere in elele, we saw this mobile police guy(mopol) ahead of us flaging private motorists..but none of them stopped, (I didn't blame them sha cos nobody knows who is who these days.."Sure u get wat I mean" ...we decided 2 help him out..(Thank God we didn't regret it later)...the man probably in his early forties thanked us as he entered car and we drove off...to be sincere I was a bit scared cos I just imagined a human being sitting behind me with an ak47...but I prayed silently asking God for protection..ie: let our good deed not bring us sorrow ......I decided 2 chat with him since my friend was the one driving....officer where r u going to I asked...(Smh we even forgot 2 ask him b4 he entered d car)...after he told us, he added immediatly.."I hope your papers are complete".??... (Yepa!!!! Shebi u don see as we don go carry wahala wey stand on em own 4 road I said 2 myself)...yes my friend answered and we exchanged glances......okay,he continued because I know some people only decide to help security agents on the road when their papars are not complete....( Na so I take vex...xo xo because we helped u, u think ur doing us a favour I said 2 my sef again)...I felt like telling my friend "abeg make we take style drop this man oh"...(Because I became uncomfortable with his initial question..coincidentally d song playing then was bugatti by ace hood..." Lord me no wan wake up 4 police cell oh I said 2 my self again....well we are not criminals n we dnt have any implicating material I thought) .....after a while I asked him..officer so if we are stopped now n maybe we don't have a certain vehicle paticular, are you trying 2 say that you won't beg on our behalf?? I will he laughed and answered..but u see' he countinued many things happen at some of these checkpoints u see...:hmm like wat.??.I asked out of curiousity....some security agents u see are very cunny.. When they stop u at a checkpoint and search your car or check your paticulars..(They usually do both)..if there is any u don't have, as usual they would charge u 4 it ..(After threatening 2 take ur car 2 jupitar.. ) when u pay 4 it they would then say.." Oga/madam make sure say u get these papers if not when u go pass here again we go hold u...they would then copy ur car details..(mind u, not all motorists know when this happens) ie black toyota camry ** *** ktu lagos..( Depending on urs)...n u would happily drive off..when u get 2 d next checkpoint, another set of security agents would stop you and ask for d same papers..its a coincidence right?? Even when u are stopped by another set of security agents at 3 other checkpoints demanding 4 d same paper...lolzzz (even if all the witches in your village held prayer n fasting 4 u on d@ day)...well sometimes this is what actualy happens" he continued...d moment u leave, they would send ur car details 2 the next checkpoint n d next checkpoint sends it 2 d next one and so on..(They are usually from d same station ..grouped into 4 or 5 sets covering an area)....so u end up paying 4 d same thing till u pass d@ paticular team... ..and they have seasons which coincidentally coresponds with festive seasons..eg christmas,easter,muslim celebrations etc......xo that's y I asked u if ur papers are complete...(All d while he was explaining I was just shaking my head like an agama lizard)....na wah o..officer thank u 4 d info I said.....u see not all security agent is corrupt..he laughed and replied..d thing z d@ there are corrupt people everywhere even in churches...he continued....heaving a sigh of dis belief I said..well its left 4 the good ones 2 bring them 2 order ...we discussed about politics 4 a while n soon he said he was okay...we dropped him n I gave him a little money 4 transport bade him goodbye n we continued our journey (so such security agents still exist I said 2 my self)............na wah o my friend said..shebi dem talk say police no go school... ...u don see am na I replied.



So my friends..pls ensure ur vehicle papers are complete b4 u emback on any journey this festive period..xo u won't start spending ur money unnecesary even b4 u reach ur destination....
