Well, writing this is really a pain in ♍¥ neck (so to say).

But I console myself that I'm not the only one dat has had such an experience
(like dat will take the pain away undecided)

This happened when I was in high skul. Happen to have had a best friend, Funso, who I couldn't do without.

We did everything togeda; football, table tennis, basket ball and stuffs (even fabbing 2geds, or tapping, as we called it those days grin).
We were like a twin that could never ϐε separated.

Much like a reality. Until this faithful day when because of a girl, I slapped Funsho.

Its a long story, but the nick of it was dat I thought he was trying to win her attention.
Only to latter discover (many years later) dat SHE was the one seeking for his attention.

Funny, I was never the kind of Guy dat could let anything come in between ♍¥ best friend and I, not even ♍¥ blood brother.., or so I thought.

But, who would have guessed ?! sad.

To cut the whole short story.., or is it short story whole..,
(whatever, you get what I mean na )

♍¥ best friend stopped talking to me. All apologies and soberness proved abortive, though he said he had 4given me.

But over time, he wouldn't relate with me.

At some point I got fed-up and moved on, but life in skul wasn't fun any longer. Till finally we parted ways after writing our O'level papers.

Last time I heard, he was somewhere in Rivers state working. But we've not had any contact ever since.

(Look how I've been going on and on and on about this smiley)

Truth is, I still very much miss Funsho.
He was like the other half of me. He understood me well and knew how to make me be the best of me.

Even after having lots of friends @ the university, none had the time, patience or temperance to understand me ( like say I be thesis cool)

I know we've all made one mistake or the other in life.
Hell! I've made many mistakes in life,
but slapping Funsho and loosing his friendship was the ONE thing I thought I would NEVER do. cry

And the girl?
She didn't even show me face after what I did. undecided
I guess being the daughter to the principal of the skul gave her the effrontery to reject ♍¥ woes.

Well, dats it.
No one should EVEN think of consoling me. embarassed
I case ♍¥ rest..,sorry.
I rest ♍¥ case.

Now, your turn. tongue
