I purchased Tecno Phatom A2 that works fine in Nigeria but does not work outside Nigeria with local SIM ? It does not recognozes the service provider. Error msg is 'mobile network is not available'. Is the phone locked? How I can unlock to recognize the local SIM |

Check the frequency bands that the Tecno phone can operate on. It's possible that the local sim you tried using is on a spectrum that the Tecno phone doesn't operate upon or might even be a CDMA network which Tecno phones do not operate on. 1 Like |

Try to slot in a sim that does not work on a CDMA network. |
