People in other parts of the country have dethroned God fathers why can't it be done in Kwara State. I am an Edo man and I can tell you that before Osho baba, that is exactly what everyone used to say. We were told 'You can't be anything in Edo State unless Anneih is behind you, blah blah blah' Today is Osho not in his second term. The Saraki family have an overwhelming influence and support on/of folks in Kwara State. PDP would have done better to keep him within the fold. It would be easier for the camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for PDP to win Kwara State again. Though nothing is impossible. See as your blood they hot, who is Tony Anneih? The one who cannot win his local govt(esan west or where) in last local govt election in edo state? Anneih only have power in PDP as a party, The likes of saraki, T.Y Danjuma and late Adedebu A.K.A Amala politics in OYO state are very unique politicians who don't need presidential backing before doing anything in their state, those once are not Abuja base politicians alone, they have grassroot support. They are always in support of the masses and pretend to show them love by donating food and cash to the poor once on the street periodically, in their private capacity. Which has made it easier for them to carry masses along.

APC have always been against the PDP because of their corrupt, inhumane and odoriferous system of government. Now the so called thieves and corrupt minds have been accepted into APC. And my thinking was that; they should be thoroughly orientated and scrutinized before joining APC not to handover the party structure to one of them…. In fact, this made me conclude that APC might be more dangerous than pdp if they eventually win at the national level comes 2015. Because it is now very clear to me that they are obviously fighting for their selfish interest.
Kwara state have been controlled by one selfish and wicked family/clan(sarakis) for close to two decades now and we’ve been clamoring, fighting and praying for change and the supposed change have come i.e APC, only for the party leaders to handover the state’s party structures to this selfish family again. Why can’t they handover the party structure to the likes of dele belgore (SAN) and other renowned ACN/APC faithful? In fact, I believed that the merger may not work well in kwara state especially in my home town (Offa).
