The Senate on Tuesday dismissed the call by the All Progressives Congress (APC) that the National Assembly should begin impeachment process against President Goodluck Jonathan over allegations contained in former President Olusegun Obasanjo to Jonathan. Addressing newsmen on Tuesday in Abuja, the Chairman, Senate Committee on Media, Information and Public Affairs, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe (PDP-Abia), said the call was “utter rubbish”.
