Leading computer chip manufacturer Intel has concluded plans to bring voice enabled apps for Personal Computers in 2014. This development was revealed by Mr. Sandeep Aurora, Intel’s Director of marketing & market development in South Asia department.

Mr. Aurora said that Intel was committed to the development of a small technology chip that will support voice enabled software application for Personal Computers. Intel is working closely with some companies to make this a reality. The chip would be companionable and attuned with voice enabled interface. Intel’s new chip will have enormous capacity and processing power but will process activities with minimal battery usage.

The tech giant has spent enormous resources in research leading to the development of the infamous 4th generation core processors which were released earlier this year. They were designed to consume less power saving about 50% of battery life. Laptops could last up to 9-hours with Intel’s 4th generation core processors technology.
