efedua: u guys have to be kidding, when jamb tells u the real thing u will try to put urs forward. who told u SLT is 5yrs in any institution in Nigeria, SLT in all uni is 4yrs, it falls under the faculty of science. maybe u are mistaking it for medical laboratory science which is 5yrs.....they are different, one is a lab. technician and the other is a med/lab. scientist

What make you think a Bsc in Scinece Labortory Technology could be addressed as a Technicain?

This is not an OND Cert so you couldn't possibly call someone who hold a Bsc in science Lab Tech a Technician. As the name implied they are rather called Technologists. They are Lab Technologists not Technician cuz they possess a Bsc degree not an OND.

As per the jamb assigning 4yrs to some courses whose duration extend more than 4yrs, I am pleased to use Optometry as an example. Jamb always assign 4yrs to Optomentry in the jamb status but those doing it in Uniben had always done it for straight 6yrs.

Even that Med Lab u mentioned jamb do place 4yrs in their site but it is stil 6yrs not even 5yrs any more cuz Med Lab do go for internship. So my opinion in my previous post is possibly right.
