That means yu have spent average of 83.333K a month on the car, and yet you still holding on to it? i bet you are lying, cos if you are married, your wife would have divorced you that your judgement faculty is not too good.

Even richest man wont spend as such on maintenance, na how much u come buy the box.

1. I Changed the Engine= The engine was 145,000, the labour for the overhaul job cost 50,000 that is 205000 already oh)
2. I Changed the drive sfafts, suspension, bolt joints and other things in the front that cost me = 126,000 the reciepts are still with me
3. 2 weeks after changing the things in the front the gearbox gave away that repair job cost me = 90,000
4 I changed the back bolt joints, brake disc and linkage that cost me 52000
5. I've changed the fans 3 times in the past 6 months 1 fan is 14000, that equals 42000
and the usual servicing and other little things all this should be more than 500,000 so dont go running ur mouth if u dont know nothing.

That means you are not driving the car, but the car is driving you crazy, cos with such maintenance and you still keeping it, it is either you are **** or **** is you.
My guy such car shdnt be kept at all, so my advice, trade "him"

Scan and post the reciepts since you said you still have them so we all can see.
I have driven alot of junk in my life but 500k in 6months for a car you bout for 1.2mil just makes no sense. My opinion

I drive a VW Jetta serviced and maintained by VW centre and I have spent nothing like that even after a burnt out clutch, a gear box change, a brand new bumper, a brand new driver side window and door, a respray, tons of servicing and a couple and a few minor repairs.

500,000k is just a gross over-estimation. I could buy your car for 500,000k.

i know the amount is ridiculous, im in port harcourt and things are really expensive here and the pips at the peugeot service center here in port harcourt are criminals if i tried fixing the car with them those figures could double, i appreciate ur concern im planning on getting another car and parking the 406 permanently.

honestly,i own peugeout 406 2001 (desiel) since 2004 still now.really the car is expensive to maintain but have not even spend up to 250k on the car ,even when gear box was broken i only bought it for 45k with labour.

I remember late 2014/15 when a rich friend of mine bought the car from his in-law.


According to the Inlaw, the car was shared to them in his working place (a banker) and he just used it few months.

The Inlaw persuaded him to buy that nothing is wrong with the car.

Although the man is driving old Toyota Camry 1990 that barely give him wahala at all.

The man finally bought the Peugeot 406. Blue color.

It’s not up to a month. He changed gear box. Later, he changed so many other things. The constant overheating the Car pour the man hot water one day when he open the bonnet due to over heating. The injury lasted for few weeks. Very bad.

The car finally broke down on road. They said the engine has spoiled. It was towed to his office compound.

The man spent a lot of money on the car. He keeps complaining to me cos he’s my daily customer and a close friend.

The car nearly wreck him. He packed it at his block industry compound and retire to his old Camry.

He never forgive his Inlaw for selling his problem to him. Hahaha

That car dey chop money too much. It’s not for daily use except you’re living in the urban area and use it for office to and fro. It’s not meant for rugged uses and all that.

I will never forget the complains of the man about the car everyday to me.

We all have our bitter experiences ,but once you have a good peugeot mechanic and likewise don't abuse the ride.you will so love it.my dad used that ride from 2003 to 2014, before I hijacked the ride from him and I still use it up till now.it was bought brand new.only changed my engine once.the old engine was already weak.this is a rugged ride.

Because you bought a Nigeria scrap right from the beginning. A tokunbo or well maintained Nigeria Used will never cost you that money. If you buy a similar scrap of camry you would have spent more. You can never get any camry engine for that low amount so your maintenance perspective is a flaw.
