On the Thursday following the murder of Ige, Thisday newspaper had run a publication that indicted the then President Olusegun Obasanjo and Ige's one time vice, Chief Bisi Akande, now APC interim national chairman over that murder. The publication caused a tornado of fuzz (am realy finding it difficult to excavate the publication from the newspaper's archives now). This The Nation version was published then when Obasanjo was still the worst thing that has ever happened to Nigeria since after the amalgation. But now, you know, he's become the best thing that has happen to some people since after the discovery of amala and ewedu.
