Jehovah's Witnesses: A Stable Christian Organization by Maximus85(m): 10:55am On Dec 24, 2013
This is why I Love being a Jehovah's Witness. Though we made some wrong calculations in the past, we publicly admitted it cos we believe that the light of the truth is shining ever brighter.
We calculated that the end might come in 1975, but looking at what Mat 24:14 says...the end won't come until the goodnews of God's kingdom is preached in all inhabited earth. That's why we concentrate more on preaching and preaching and preaching. We are doing it like Jesus, going from house-to-house.

All our doctrine is based in the Bible, We use God's name Jehovah. That name appeared nearly 7000times in the hebrew scriptures (manuscript) because of this, they said we made our own Bible. How many times did that name Jehovah appear in your Bible.

Simple english language. What is "I am the Lord God" two titles, just like saying "I am Mr Doctor" in our own translation its "I am Jehovah your God" see the difference?

Our Doctrine has never changed since the beginning.
We don't celebrate Birthdays,
No Christmas,
No Blood,
No Two Wives,
We never believed in Trinity,
We never believed that everyone goes to heaven.
We don't believe in Hell
We don't do politics.
We are not pursuing wealth. (we don't teach economic empowerment inside God's house)
I saw a pastor on tv with the topic "How to be economically empowered" inside church? I wept.

You can go on and on, we've never changed any of our believes and it will never change.

I'm not a member and I don't agree substantially with your doctrines but I think you have outstanding people among your members. People who are decent and unattracted to the trappings and voracious appetite of the modern generation towards wealth and power.

We try to live our lives according to God's standard. Though among us we have those who are just Jehovah's Witnesses by name but not by their ways of life.

Which other Christian group take the preaching work as sooo serious as the Jehovah's Witnesses? Isn't that the mission of Jesus Christ? People are saying that Christmas is of pagan origin, all you do is rubbish it without checking if what they are saying is true or false. Ordinary Google will help you.

Christmas is said to be the birthday of Jesus. Birthdays was started by pagans. Two Examples recorded in the Bible are Pharaoh and Herod they are idol worshipers. This is proof. And how many prophets or disciples of Jesus was said to celebrate birthdays?

Can you boast that christmas was recorded in the Bible? I hope you don't feel stupid to have called someone else stupid.

This question can not be answered here. Its too lenghten and its objective is to cause confusion. Best you print it out and meet Witnesses one and one and enquire from them. You will receive answers backed up by the scriptures. The authors are apostates, probably witneses who were disfellowshiped. Apostle Paul said such try and draw away disciples - Acts 20:29-30. Always make sure that what ever is taught is defended by bible scriptures (Acts 17:11). Jesus did that- Matthew 4:1-10

I don't know if they are forbidden from having friends outside their religion but I sure have some really nice friends I relate well with. I also share their belief that heaven is not for everybody. The bible is explicit about who will inherit the earth. Besides, when we recite the Lords prayer, we say "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven". So, a perfect earth which is also the kingdom of God is meant to be inherited by Gods people.

Everything we preach is from the Bible. Ask us any question and we will answer from the holy scriptures. But who said our kingdom halls don't have windows? I can't still stop laughing.

If a Witness could post a summary of Jehovah's Witnesses' creed, I mean the ones being practiced today, it would be much appreciated. Should I meet a Witness, I am sure to ask him/her to shed more light on the Rules of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Dear friend, we don't call it rules. We simply refer to them as Bible principles. We follow them to the letter. Anything without Bible backing, we don't do.

Let's take the Blood issue for instance.

God told Noah not to eat blood. These other people agreed ooo but they still take blood into their veins. If a doctor said one should not take drugs and the person didn't sniff it but injected it, wouldn't that be same as taking drugs? The modern doctors (Bible aside now) have agreed to the fact that blood transfusion causes more damage. They have come up with alternative treatments.

Zither: I want to get my facts straight before anything. I have decided to reserve my comments until I have gone through the JW site.

Granted, Christian religion without foundation in Christ is nothing. But I wonder whom you are referring to. If you are referring to the witnesses, then you really need to know them better. We believe the holy spirit, hell (shoel/hades) and heaven. Those are in the bible.

I was raised a jehovah's witness and I cannot thank Jehovah and my parents enough. I am a nice youngman, and moderate in habits. I cannot count the many things I've gained in the course of my life. I've experience the joy that comes from seeing people's eyes light up as they understand bible truths...calling on people's homes to preach even when they cld be apathetic to our message has taught me patience,love,humility,self-sacrifice, and long suffering. These qualities are lacking in our world today, and to think that I developed them, its a privilege.

Í have a wondÉrful brotherhood. People who can render assisstance to me in whatever waÝ possible shld therÉ be a need. I have Jehovah God, who I can be ever close to as long as I live.

I'm going to let out something. This world i§ so cold. No love, no loyalty, happiness is empty. In Jehovah's organisation, you can be truly happy because you are taught to apply bible principles...if I was somewhere else I have no idea how my life wldve been, but I'm sure I wldnt have these gains.

Get to know Jehovah's witnesses. If you want to follow public opinion, you'll have every reason to dislike or hate them. Take Þime to investigate them, study their beliefs. Check carefully if it is founded on sc®ipture. Many who have done this have been amazed at their discovery.

I love people, I share God's will which is that all sorts of persons come to an acurate knowledge and be saved.
