I met Ghana's Asamoah Gyan at Newcastle Int'l Airport just as I was about checking in. Couldn't help but ask for a photo session. He was kinda surprised. Maybe doubting his celebrity status since leaving English football. He gave me a copy of his new album too. Double Christmas delight
