The issue of payment of half salary has become a prevailing trend in the local Government Secretariat of Mopamuro L.G.A of kogi state. Atimes, or rather most times, the workers are paid just half of their entitlement with the flimsy excuse that their is no/less money in the L.G.A. Some workers testified that this trend started around middle of last year, and although the remaining half is paid atimes, their are still times when the half is not paid later. I wonder what strategy these greedy politicians will not use to loot the poor people. May God help us in this country.

Too many ghost workers in the LG system. Na wa o

Its common in Akwa Ibom state. In Abak local govt of Akwa Ibom state am told the workers have not been paid for over three months now. I learnt the allocation of the local govt is always shaved at the state level and remnant given to the local govt which is not enough to pay staff salaries.
