Laptop/parcel/money from UK,USA through a cargo company scam alert

Warning to all members of the public!

This is to warn the public that some fraudsters are contacting people through chat rooms like tagged.com, facebook, sms and direct telephone contact claiming to be a local Nigerian branch of overseas- UK, US, parcel/cargo/courier company that wants to deliver a parcel, laptop, or even money.

These 419/fruadsters mostly befriend unsuspecting members of the public in social networks sites and chat room with the ringleader pretending to be a whiteman/woman or even blackman/woman living abroad, UK or US. After a few days of the friendship, they offer to send you gift, laptop, parcel, money. The fake friend now give you the name and number of local company delivering the items- They usually use names of existing overseas cargo/courier/parcel company- claiming that the local number they have given you, is the local Nigerian branch of the existing overseas company.

The victim now get a call from the imposter fake courier company- stating that they have your item, but its delayed by customs, that you will need to pay into a Nigerian bank account- declaration fees, delivery charges and all sort of fake charges on the non existent gift.

They try and extract as much money from the victim, starting with mostly small charges like- 15,000 Naira, then 25,000, moving up until the victim becomes suspicious. They will never allow you come to their office, even if they will always give you excuse that the item is still being delayed by Nigeria customs. They keep at it until the victim stops calling or paying.

Clearly there was never a gift- Laptop, parcel or money by anyone being sent to you- noting comes free- the whiteman or person claiming to be living in UK, US who you met online IS fake. They are mostly 419ners who reside in Nigeria with you and are part of the same gang or same person. They are out to defraud you! Simple. You the victim- Remember you didnt not buy or send anything yourself from UK nor did you arrange with any courier company there to send you anything. You have not met this online friend before. So stop and think.

"If you have not shipped, bought or made any courier /cargo arrangements with any cargo/courier/freight company- Then do not expect anything nor pay for any thing or believe stories about free laptop, parcels, money coming from any fake whiteman/woman (who is obviously black) you meet on social networks.

Remember - You didn't buy any laptop! ordered any parcel! So stop wanting free things. If you or a real friend(not online ones) you have actually physically met have shipped any thing- You should contact the company you have the arrangement with directly by their website, they should clarify you.

Research any company name that they claim they are from before or are agents of and warn the company and report to the police or banks they have accounts they must have provided to you- Do this immediately - Not after paying money to 419ners!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the nutshell - there is noting free- "If you have not shipped, bought or made any courier /cargo arrangements with a courier company from UK, Nigeria or anywhere, then do not entertain, listen to these fraudsters.

These fraudsters are out to collect your money and disappear-There is no laptop, money or parcel from any fake black-man pretending to be a whiteman-

These people calling, chatting with or emailing you or other people they call - are not part of, agents of any cargo company nor any other courier company name they use! - Which are mostly UK, or US cargo based company.

They are fraudulent individuals are using the UK or US based cargo company & couriers companies out there to contact people they meet online and chat rooms ,facebook, tagged.com and other social sites, that they are sending them laptops or parcels through cargo company from London, Manchester, Liverpool or any other UK city that they feel like using to them in Nigeria.

They give you a telephone number in your local country , like Nigeria, telling you is the local agent of OVERSEA cargo company, You then get calls from the supposed local people- telling you all stories about you paying for custom charges, declaration fee and all sorts-

The fraudsters after baiting their potential victims start requesting money to be paid into various Nigerian accounts, first bank, Acess bank, GTB bank and any other bank- claiming the goods to be delayed by customs or any other excuse.

some popular names and bank accounts the fraudsters go by are:

Kennedy Peters-

the name of supposed account officer of the cargo company based in Abuja is CHIDOZIE PETER with the GTB account 0128765105.numbers he calls with is 08092766585 and 08143271115

The other alias they go by one MR.Nwanchukwu WiLLiams.... The supposed dispatcher

The supposed UK sender - He has so many names- Mr Smith- number is +447045702678

see below this write up an attached picture (obviously one of many) the fake Mr Tommy smith uses on tagged.com to trap unsuspecting public

Another account number-

Bank Name: First Bank
Account Name: Chidozie Peters
Account Number: 304956298

Mathew Epko,
mobile number- 08092766585
Bank account number is 0059819071 ACCESS BANK.
The agent who keeps calling people claiming to be the delivery staff is Williams Nwachukwu, his number is 08143271115.

Let everyone be aware that these people are not part of cargo team or the courier company they claim to be agents of- nor are they authorized agents, local branch or affiliated to these overseas companies - They don't have any laptop or parcel for anyone of their potential victim.

They are fraudsters . A cargo or courier company don't contact people and ask for money. They are a courier company- as such People contact us and send items and mostly pay in the UK or in the local country its sent from

Please don't expect to get any thing you didn't send your self or by someone you actually know and have met physically. Dont believe any one you meet online in chat rooms that claim they are sending you laptop or parcels through courier companies. They are not sending you anything! They are out to collect money from you by deception! The chat room friend usually pretend to be white, but be aware they are not, but black who are actually based in Nigeria and with intent to take your money. The UK number they call you with is fake or belongs to one of their gangs. The person in Nigeria, is also a fraudster, who is part of the gang.

Don't pay any money to any one or into the bank accounts they give you( report the account number, name to the bank, police). Check website of companies they claim to be from and call or text or watsapp the number there, email the company domain email- to confirm anyone claiming to be from any courier company in the UK or Nigeria.

Report any such activities to the local police , the cargo companies and the bank - whose details they must have provided for you to pay. Thanks -

PAY AT YOUR OWN RISK

Scam Alert

Met HARRY on Tinder, we got talking he said he was a Nigerian but based in the UK. He said he is coming for his sister's wedding in October and would like to see then. We barely talked for 4 days before he said he is going shopping for this for his sister and asked if I wanted anything, I said I don't know. He ask if I like surprises I said yes. Then said he would surprise me.
This morning he sent a tracking number for a parcel coming to me
https://airfreight.joomla.com
Password 00180747410

When I check the tracking the content included: 1 sealed box, 1 I Phone 8+,1 handbag, 8wears,1Peruvian hair, 11.8k Gold chain, 4pair of shoes, 1 TF perfumes, 1wrist watch, 1 Female Make up kit, 3 Teddy bears and 1 rose flower,.
I was given a number to call to 08092424853, when I called the number, I was told the parcel was in abuja Airport if I wanted to physically come get it or if I wanted them to send it to me in Lagos.
I asked for it to be sent to Lagos.
I was told it would cost N9,150 for it to be sent by transport or N19,000 for flight.

He sent me an account number to send the money to
Account number

UBA
MICHEAL ABAYOMI

After a while Micheal from delivery service calls me and say the sealed box isn't being cleared by customs, they want to know what is in the box.
I told them i would find out from the guy that sent it. I sent a message to Harry and he says it's was cash he had sent to surprise me that I shouldn't let them open the box.
Next message I got saw that the was drugs in the box I shouldn't let them open it that he would get into trouble.
Micheal then called me back to tell me that customs want me to settle them for the box to be sent to me. At this point I figured it was a scam.

This is the picture that was sent by Harry. I am almost 100% sure this isn't really him.
Please be careful out there these people are preying on people
