Its a natural occurrence,Laptop batteries diminish over time but what makes it was is constant charging.It kills the cells in the battery on time.

Search for laptop batteries' maintenance tips. It's very useful especially when you have PHCN in a country

go to control panel and adjust the stand by and the shut down to 45minutes or 30minutes and when it shuts down or goes to standby ,dont put it on,that is try and leave a substantial power in the battery.it prolongs the battery life.

Sometimes, it's best to drain your batter power completely for effective performance

@poster in most cases the battery has lost its cell life, there should be places where u can boots your batter and bring it back to life in ur location cause mine was was like that once power electricity is off the laptop goes off immediately which is not good at all.

i also had battery problems, searching for solution for almost a year. the only solution is buying a new one. i just bought a brand new one for my dell laptop. just 10k. checkout computer village

Wait a minute, is it just me or somethings else, i feel the guy's trying to say that his battery is lasting longer and not lesser. He said it show's 0minute and he's been working with yet it didn't get into standby or shutdown.

So, grammatically he's not saying he has get a faulty battery. !!!

i will suggest u get a laptop battery doubler software, its free online and try for about a week, if it dosnt work, then go get another one in computer village or cms

True Inze, to my understanding he has the same problem with me. Am sure he's using ACER. Maybe its a genral problem with them. After it shows battery warning it last longer than it should. some times the Batt light will turn green but the batt meter is at 94%.
