Young man, I hate to break dis to u, but I doubt U.I wld grant/offer admission to any candidate who scored lower dan 50%. Same way candidates who scored lower dan 200 in utme didn't qualify to write d post utme.

Like I said earlier, UI doesn't use the Post utme score alone in fixing departmental cut-off marks. Some said UI did last year, and I asked dem, "did UI state the criteria they used in fixing d cut-off for last year ?" 1st of all, d post utme questions were cheaper than those in jamb. 2nd of all, d english had fewer or missing subject areas like phonetic, stress, and lexis, and likewise in other subjects . Almost 90% of candidates scored above 50% in dis post utme. So why would a cheaper test of knowledge be used alone in fixing cut-off, over an aggregate score (utme/8 + p.utme/2)? D fact remains, UI is using aggregate score, and nt just post utme alone. 210/8 + 70/2 = 61.25(appx 61!) Dis was wat UI likely did last year, but most candidates misconstrued d aggregate for post utme score. I stil stand to be corrected.

With d mass success recorded in p.utme, if d cut-off wld be based on just post utme, d merit cut-off wld likely be 75%, while catchment cut-off wld vary. I've seen people who scored above 70 in post utme but didn't get up to 210 in jamb get admitted in mbbs while some scattered jamb and didn't reach the 70 and weren't

Ar u 100% positive on dis? Last year, UI released cutoff 2 b 70% 4 MBBS. Do u av anyone admited without attaining 70%?

UI won't give u oda less competitive course automatically. Vacancies wld be announced, and u'l hv to check d vacant courses and see whch 1 doesn't require credit pass in maths, den u apply.

dude UI used ONLY putme score last yr for admission.a friend of mind got 217 in jamb wit 73 in putme.bro she was admitted for mbbs(7th name on d merit list).like u stated,d putme questions were cheaper Dan those of jamb,there is enough reason to doubt a candidate's(mbbs) jamb score if he/she couldn't make 75 and above in dat ss1 exam......Mehn putme is d filter paper,shikena!

U're wasting ur prayers. That's nt d right prayer to pray, cos I can guarantee u dat over 100 mbbs scored above 70. The actual prayer u need pray is to be the only/best candidate from ur state dat chose mbbs. Any1 frm zamfara dat scored 200 in utme, and scored 50 in post utme will automatically meet d list thru ELDS, as long as he's d only one frm zamfara dat chose dat mbbs, or if he's d best zamfara candidate dat chose d course. Don't forget to use anointing oil o!
