Pls, how can one alleviate dysmenorrhea (menstrual cramps) without using drugs?
All I saw on the internet had to do with twisting your body in painful and impossible ways.

Garlic. Lots of it a day before your period. If you cant chew, then cut into small bits and swallow with water. Repeat same on the 'D' day. Thank me later

Hi menstrual cups have also been known to reduce menstrual cramps in some women and shorten the length of a woman's period generally. Do some research and see. A readily available one in Nigeria is the Luv Ur Body menstrual Cup. You can buy it directly from their website or off online stores like Jumia. Im not a doctor but you may want to invest in a good hot water bottle for your back or tummy and up your calcium level through leafy vegetables, almonds and foods high in calcium since you don't want to take supplements. Ginger tea may also sooth you but make it fresh ie buy ginger and boil some in hot water and drink, you can add honey to sweeten if you prefer. Hope you feel better, Take care.
