To label most of the pictures here Yoruba and Igbo based on the tribe of the wearers is misleading,

I agree, if you want to label any attire authentically Yoruba and Igbo it would be these ones:
But because of us western influence they have been lost, especially the Igbo loin cloths.

CNN and other western media stations still show pictures or movies of African men in loin clothes or even naked Africans every week on their various networks

This is how our ancestors dressed. These were taken in the 20th century. I'm not ashamed of it.
