Heerenveen youngster Kenneth Otigba is eligible to represent the National Team of Nigeria even though he has caps for the youth teams of Hungary. The central defender has strongly hinted that he would consider playing for the Super Eagles if he is selected for the mundial in Brazil. “Maybe I should choose which country I want to represent as a footballer but I have not been invited by any country. “It is not that I feel more connected to one country than the other. “With Nigeria to the World Cup, who knows,”Kenneth Otigba said to Voetbal International. This portal previously revealed that Otigba has pledged his international future to Nigerian and is now waiting to hear from the Super Eagles handlers. This season, the 21 - year - old has netted 4 goals in 17 games from his defensive position. Photo Credit : nemzetisport.hu http://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=11288 |

Make e wait till after 2014 world cup before dem invite am. Didn't he see nigeria as a nationality he could represent before going on to play for Hungary youth team? Now that Hungary didn't invite him for any of their qualifiers and didn't qualify to be at the mundial, that is when he remembered he is eligible to represent Nigeria. So one of the guys that struggled to make sure nigeria qualifies should be dropped for him? |
