Yaya Toure has just been announced as the Glo-CAF 2013 Best African Player. Hmm, I'm sure many 9ja football fans won't be pleased with this. Was John Mikel Obi robbed of his night of glory or what?

And that closing performance by P-Square was really poor. Flavour's performance was ok. It appears most Nigerian musicians get out of their depth while performing with a live band.

Sunday Oliseh did a very good job as the MC, smooth, fluent in English and French. He made 9ja proud.
