@deepzone, Easy man easy. I make every statement with reason. I do not hate anybody. I am Igbo if you want to know. before you go ahead to say whatever you like you would have read my post well. Now you are calling the ND guys criminals but you are critizing another for saying that the leaders are sellouts which they are. Not all those you are calling criminals are criminals and even if they have commited some criminal acts, it is the govt that pushed them. but you will not see it from that angle. It is the evil govt both local and national that produced the monsters that they are trying to pacify now. Why wouldn't I call them sell outs, I know Ebitu is an exceptional case, but how many of them are like him. May be you have forgotten Joe Irukwu, the imediate past chirman and his open support for Third term. Why is it that they cannot come together to sort out the problem of south east? They cannot because most of them are errand boys for the northern Oligarchy or to whoever holds the reigns. They are all selfish. The south east cannot produce a candiate for any election, they will alwys will be fragmented but we have the toothless bulldog called the Ohaneze. Why will someone not be free to suspect their move as result of their past actions. As I said earlier, i would have liked what they said but what is the need liking it when noone will take them serious. Drop 50 million between them now and they will fall into factions opposing themselves c33b33: Lets hope they are different. Those two name quite ring a bell but a tree cannot make a forest. I hope they make a difference |

@deepzone, I don't know what you are. For all I care, you can have an ibo screen name. Even, an ibo person that grew up in yorubaland can register here as Lekan for example and be bashing yoruba people(of course he's bilingual and you can never decode it), in the same vein, a yoruba man that grew up in the east can register here as Nkechi and pass very well for an ibo person, afterall he can speak ibo. whatever is the case, I guess you arm chair critics that write from your rooms in US and UK should look towards the positive side of any move than cast mere aspersions. I'm getting tired of it. What will be their possible motive for speaking out against the ills of the ND people when about 30% of Niger Deltans are ibos? Now you are calling the ND guys criminals but you are critizing another for saying that the leaders are sellouts which they are.I did not call the ND's criminals. Read before you comment, I called the MILITANTS criminals. Will you hold me responsible as a Yoruba woman for any mayhem caused by the OPC? Not all those you are calling criminals are criminals and even if they have commited some criminal acts, it is the govt that pushed them. but you will not see it from that angle. It is the evil govt both local and national that produced the monsters that they are trying to pacify now. Well, the street robber was pushed by hunger or drug addiction to steal. Will you also justify that? Why wouldn't I call them sell outs, I know Ebitu is an exceptional case, but how many of them are like him. May be you have forgotten Joe Irukwu, the imediate past chirman and his open support for Third term. Does that mean you should paint Prof Nwabuze, Ukiwe, and co black because Iruwku supported Obasanjo? Why not site Obasanjo's physician and personal confidant, Dr Andy Uba and use him as a yardstick to measure all the ibos? The likes of Chuwkemeka ezeife,Bola Tinubu, Ralph Obiora saw hell during the Abacha cyclone because they were the NADECO front runners. Were they doing it because of an ulterior motive too? Why is it that they cannot come together to sort out the problem of south east? They cannot because most of them are errand boys for the northern Oligarchy or to whoever holds the reigns. They are all selfish. The south east cannot produce a candiate for any election, they will alwys will be fragmented but we have the toothless bulldog called the Ohaneze. Why will someone not be free to suspect their move as result of their past actions. Which area in Nigeria has no problem. If you are actually ibo, you need to shut up and feel others and realize that it's not all about you. Obasanjo ruled Nigeria b/c the northerners felt mortified/compelled to do so because of Abiola. The power issue has been shared in Nigeria among the 6 geo political zones and it's 8 years north, 8 yrs south unless another thing happens to destabilize it. Should every region produce a president at once? What is your problem? The problem with Nigeria today is the culture of the survival of the fittest. What has Yardua done for his folks that made the office of the presidency so important for an ethnic group to move on? Are you telling me that if an ibo president rises to power, all the ibo people's problems will be solved, is that what you are saying? Mr, the problems will be more hydra headed if care is not taken. Why don't you pray for a good president even if he's from China than a visionless tribalistic bigot?. Take out the speck in your own eye before talking about another person. |

Drop 50 million between them now and they will fall into factions opposing themselvesWhat an insult. If your father is like that, blame him and leave a whole ethnic group out of your stupid comment. What has that gotta do with the topic by the way? |

DeepZone:im sorry whoever you are but i dont seem to know where all these anger, rantings and raving s coming from,i never addressed my comments to you, neither did i abuse anybody apart from making my own comments just like everybody else,so why are you rounding up on me? ill reply your comments but if you go the usual nairaland way of insults, ill totally ignore any subsequent comments from yourself. now to answer your question,i or my moral grounding doesnt come into the equation because im neither afenifere, ohaneze, arewa. second,no one has said afenifere are clean and above board,if i did then ill appreciate it if you showed me where i did,and as for my reference to ndigbo i was reffering to their article AS AN ORGANISATION, you know why?because of something called COLLECTIVE RESPONSIBILITY, anything the body says is binding on all members because they made the decision together DeepZone:the point again here is that what happened in the past does not place them or anybody on a moral highground, was ebenezer babatope not above board before?was senator smart adeyemi not above board before?didnt tinubu and the rest of nadeco and others challenge abacha and even went on exile?are they not more corrupt these days than even abacha?? so pls dont gimme that, also im not concerned with them as individuals but on them as an organisation, during obj's time there were few upright people working with him, that didnt stop nigerians scoring him low,all im saying is that what ohaneze are suddenly championing now isnt something being opposed by any other tribe in nigeria, if any tribe opposed it then it wouldnt have been agreed upon at independence, the only people that ever opposed it at any time untill now are the oligarchs in all the various ethnic groupings like i said earlier pls do not insult me again or i will totally ignore any further comments from you, because you dont know me |
