Because we have a messed up mentality that blinds up from realizing that we can be better by making ourself and others around us better. Instead we preffer to take the cheap road of associating our self worth to how many non Nigerian influences we have access to.

This is the same reason Nigeria is where it is today, we have bad roads, but we drive German Jeeps, but hold on German roads are one of the best in the world. When we decide to build the road, we call a German company, Hello, Nigerians can't build roads?

On NL now, everyone wants you to know TuFace has a joint with R Kelly, so?!! Is the point not to have a GOOD song, should we care its with R Kelly? No, but we do.

Until we realize that by empowering ourselves we ain't going anywhere fast. If THIS DAY invest 10% of the money spent on this event on 9ja acts, the acts get paid, the record company benefits, the producer get paid, the PA can do her job and get paid, but we all prefer to make J-Zay richier so we can come back on NL and talk about the cars he has, And Nduka can tell anyone that cares to listen that he as hung out with the best rapper in the world.

Question: Name one venue in Lagos, that can comfortable sit 10,000people?

Not one, Not one, world class venue do we have in Lagos, Not one, zip, nish, NULL!!!!

Have you read Diddy's Opinion After Visit To Naija!

We deceive ourselves alot. See them raising alotta money for Obama's campaign (as if they'll be allowed to vote), yet if you tell them to help the unemployed; na seminar dem go dey do.

Our Musicians too are influenced by the "fast lives" lived abroad and want to imitate their lifestyle. Nobody wants to be original.

Imagine BlackFace speaking like an English man in an interview on why he wants to be known as BlackFaceNaija undecided

Our corporate world (tthat sponsor these events) hardly appreciate our "own"; it's no reason why I blamed not Eedris' row with 50

Many Nigerians (Corporate bodies included) still act as 'slaves'. No American Organizers will bring in any foreign Artist into US and downgrade their Artist for the Artist no matter the International Statue of the Artist.
I wonder how people turn out in large number to watch Artistes that may not respect them a bit undecided and pay large amount of money (N100,000 and above) to watch them perform to music that may not be meaningful to our ways of life here.
Tell these same people to come and watch W4, 2Phat, Modele, Koffi, Owen G, Gino, Overdose, etc with just N10,000 then, you will be surprised. The Artistes named above and many other in Naija music scene are better than some foreign Artistes into Naija to deceive sofayos grin grin (my opinion)

In everything we do in Nigeria, we keep proving that Nigeria is a dumping ground angry sad angry cry
