Sakobi, the nollywood movie, I remembered well.  The snake girl, featuring saint obi and susan patrick.  Susan was the snake girl, she was instructed to deal with saint obi in the movie, first by destroying his marriage and later to kill him.  But somewhere along the line, Sakobi fell in love deeply with saint obi, and she was unable to carry out the dastardly act her god ask her to do.  Sakobi acted by Susan patrick is still very much alive today and I don't think anything of such happen to her.  Probably the near incidence could be that of Nneka, the pretty serpent, at one time, the actress (Susan Obi) who acted the movie disappear from the movie world, she has not been frequent in movies anymore as far as I remember.

You are referring to Jacob, his real name (I think) is Tajudeen Gbadamosi, a famous hunchback who died long time ago.  They called themselves Jesters International comprising Jacob and Papalolo, later joined by Aderupoko.  Jacob died amongst the three and ever since then, the group had split.  There was one particular episode of their jesters in those days that really made the headline, it was titled "Pa Jacob is Ku" it was a jest version of popular newspaper obituary in those days to announce the death of people in the newspaper.  Back then, these groups used these caption to refer to Jacob as the one referred to in a particular advert.  It was so hilarious, as it is all coming back to me now.
Having said that, no one has come out to prove it that Jacob was actually kidnap for sacrifice, but the rumour was tesne at that time especially during the Ogunpa channelisation disaster in which a lot of people died, that a famous hunchback should be sacrifice to appease the gods of Ogunpa river.  It was claimed at that time that Jacob goes into hiding, until it was announced on the radio that it was a mere rumour.  Whether this is true or not, nobody except Jacob himself can clear that rumour, but he is dead now, may his soul rest in peace.
