FELLO BLUES, THE RONALDO SAGA DON START AGAIN OH
I BIN THINK SAY HE DON COOL OFF, BUT THE BOBOB DONE IGNITE THE WHOLE STORY AGAIN OH!!

SEE WETIN HIM YARN.

Ronaldo: I'm Joining Madrid Next Week
Cristiano Ronaldo has sensationally told Spanish newspaper 'AS' that he will be joining Real Madrid, and will next week travel to Manchester to notify Sir Alex Ferguson that he is leaving the English and European Champions

Real Madrid have been on red alert ever since the Portuguese international spoke of his ambition to join them. Madrid President Ramon Calderon has even boasted of how he would splash out €100m on the United man, only for the English club to refute all offers and shackle the player.

It now seems as if the English club has no choice but to sell, as Ronaldo has issued an ultimatum as he attempts to cut and run from Sir Alex Ferguson’s side.

Ronaldo is currently in Portugal where he is recovering from injury but he admits that he will return to England next week to confront his club and tell them that he is joining Real.

"Everything is fine. Next week I will return to England and tell them [Manchester United] that my only desire is to play for Real Madrid and that I will not negotiate," Ronaldo told AS.

According to reports in Spain, the winger will hold a meeting next Tuesday with Ferguson and the club's owners to tell them that he has had enough.

It's not what United fans want to hear but it seems as if the Ronaldo saga is finally coming to an end and no doubt Calderon will be dancing to the tune of Ronaldo's words.
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by Ibime(m): 3:08pm On Jul 31, 2008
I heard on SSN that his agent told Man Utd that his desire to leave is 'non-negotiable'.

Very good news.
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by mykali(m): 4:56pm On Jul 31, 2008
that story was from a spanish media and might just be a cooked up piece. . . until it is authoritatively revealed, it might just be a hoax. any where CR7's name pops up these days is just to raise some dust and sell papers.

Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by dyabman(m): 6:55pm On Jul 31, 2008
Not heard much about the possible transfer of Robinho - asides from the article about Anelka talking of the prospect of linking up with him.

What do you think, reckon we will get him this summer? It would be the most exciting transfer for Chelsea and possibly the premier league.
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by dyabman(m): 7:04pm On Jul 31, 2008
Dunno about anyone else but for me this should be our away kit as it looks so much better than the away kit and arguably is just as good as our home kit.

The one thing i will say is tht like the home kit, i wish the away/third kits were changed every two seasons rather than after every season.

Ranieri: Chelsea would've sold Lampard to Juventus
tribalfootball.com - August 02, 2008

Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri admits he would've succeeded where Inter Milan failed in their bid for Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard.

"If I'd have asked, he (Roman Abramovich) would have given him to me," said Ranieri. "But not to (Jose) Mourinho.

"I'll let you figure out why. However, I never thought about buying him."

Although he has no plans to buy Lampard, Ranieri is in no doubt that he would succeed in Serie A.

"I'm very attached to Lampard," Ranieri added. "He would be great in Italy because he is always interested in different types of football.

"He loves knowing about football and that's why he wouldn't have much of a problem adapting."

Chelsea boss Scolari: Shevchenko not decided over spotkick miss
tribalfootball.com - August 02, 2008

Chelsea boss Phil Scolari says Andriy Shevchenko must overcome his complex if he is to succeed in England.

He said: "Sheva has not achieved great things at Chelsea as it was so hard for him to move from Milan.

"We have seen many times in the past that he is a great talent.

"But he must overcome these problems, which are mostly psychological, to achieve at Chelsea."

Shevchenko missed the decisive spotkick in last night's shootout defeat against Lokomotiv Moscow and Scolari added: "One penalty has not changed my view of Shevchenko.

"It was not his mistake, it was mine. I said I would choose the penalty takers.

"We need to improve shootouts but I'm not too worried."

Whats wrong with Sheva does he needs a Physco-analyst grin grin

Whats wrong with Chelsea too in penalty shoot-outs , lost 5-4 to moscow,
Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by somze(f): 7:19am On Aug 03, 2008
I was skeptical when others were celebrating huge score lines against Asian medical or college teams. What we need is consistency. We have to win, win and win. Moscow is closer to a team that we would play regularly when the season kicks off and what was the result? A loss.

The transfer deadline is around the corner, we still have virtually the same set of players except a 31 year old addition and another right back. No strikers or wingers have joined the club. The same old and under performing players remain at those positions. Fans have little or nothing to be excited about judging by the look of things.

Are we there yet?

Chelsea are being very careful this term , we dont want to spend much as we have done in the past and not winning the europes biggest cup. So we need to keep things tidy and firmly , Times will come when are going to spend again.Right now we are selling okay. We need to be patient.

Nicolas Anelka scored four goals as Chelsea romped to a 5-0 pre-season friendly victory over AC Milan in Moscow.

Frank Lampard opened the scoring in the third-place play-off in the Railways Cup tournament before Anelka took control.

Milan's Brazilian star Kaka - who has been linked with a summer move to Stamford Bridge - did not feature as his team put in a dismal display, typified by some inept goalkeeping by Zeljko Kalac.

A strong Chelsea line-up saw Michael Ballack make his first appearance of the Blues' pre-season following his late return to the squad after Euro 2008 duty with Germany.

But it was his central midfield partner Lampard who put Luiz Felipe Scolari's side ahead in the second minute when his curling free-kick was missed by everyone and the ball flew in through Milan keeper Kalac's legs.

It was two in the eighth minute when Anelka latched on to a poor defensive header to fire home low from the edge of the area.

Dominant
The Frenchman added a third 10 minutes later when Kalac's day went from bad to worse.

Attempting to clear a routine backpass, the Australian kicked nothing but air, allowing Anelka to steal in and tap into an empty net.

Chelsea were utterly dominant and Shaun Wright-Phillips very nearly headed a fourth soon afterwards as they sought to make amends for their shoot-out defeat to Lokomotiv Moscow two days ago.

A Milan side with no recognised strikers, but featuring former Arsenal star Mathieu Flamini in midfield, were providing little resistance and Anelka completed his hat-trick six minutes after the restart.

Deco played in Florent Malouda down the left and the winger's cross found his countryman, who headed accurately into the corner of the net.

Remarkably if was four for Anelka and five for Chelsea in the 58th minute when another flowing move down the left ended with Malouda centring once more for the former Bolton striker to volley home.

The Premier League runners-up took their foot off the gas in the last quarter but still dominated and the lively Malouda fired narrowly over with a good long-range effort

Chelsea striker Didier Drogba looks set to end speculation about his future at Stamford Bridge by signing a new four-year deal.

The Ivory Coast international has hinted that he will remain a Blues player despite interest from a number of top European sides.

AC Milan, Barcelona and Inter Milan have all been rumoured to be interested in signing the 30-year-old, who joined the London club four years ago.

Drogba has been in contact with new Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari and seems likely to sign a big-money deal that will see him remain at Stamford Bridge until 2012.

"I am confident talks with Chelsea will lead to a positive resolve about my future," Drogba told the Sunday Mirror.

Blues stay

Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon last week revealed his confidence that their big name stars, including Drogba and captain Frank Lampard, would remain at the club.

Drogba has two years remaining on his current contract but insists a move for more money is not his top priority.

"Chelsea want to speak and I am open to talk," he told The People. "Things have not changed but I am a Blues player.

"Money is not the main factor and if Chelsea show they want me it is possible to accept a proposition."

I was also sceptical. . . . but remember that Moscow are in the middle of their season and are supposed to be sharper than us.

No we are not there yet. Scolari is giving me mixed feelings - some negative, some positive. Anyway, we need some wingers quick otherwise our season will end the same way it did last year.
