Why dont you just modify your poll to reflect the actual poll you are asking members to take. For example, it can be like this.

Which of the following reality TV shows do you prefer? You can then list all the reality TV shows you know. That way, you get the members to take your poll without having to be clicking on some links. I hope that helps.
