haha, i don't think Harry can make any significant importance in ARS, let just get our acts together, i believe our poor perfomance was due to the shocker from the spurs game midweek,

we shall use the UEFA CL against Fernaberche to bounce back,

Don't loose hope yet, we still a chance, liverpool just lost their game now, if we beat MAN U and Chelsea loses.then we shall be back on track,

its all on permutation,

im still a GunNeR and would forever be a gUnNeR grin

itz going tits up for arsenal at the moment but i am hoping we have seen the back of our own rough patch

every other teams would definitely go through a rough patch, and the timing of the rough patch would be crucial to determing who wins the title

arsenal i got love, but i feel disgusted watching an arsenal game right now

we need to be brave and be at the races all the time

losses to Hull, Fulham and Stoke are not acceptable with all due respect to the teams and that is not champions winning form

but hopefully we would turn things around!

Na wa ooh such conundrum of pandemonium, delirium and mass hysteria  shocked

I was lucky i missed the first half i heard it was the worst footie we played all season but how can a team be so inconsistent how does Arsene do it?As each season goes by i am beginning to wonder if our previous solution is now becoming a problem i mean the Adebayor case was a perfect example, today was the first day i saw Adebayor limp and struggle to his feet in a football match he was having a bad game all you had to do at first sign of injury was take him off but nooo this man decided to wait till he aggravated it before finally taking him off  angry angry we just played into Stoke's hands in my opinion but i must admit those Stroke City players are rough mofos but i am disappointed in the team and most especially Arsene where is the will to win? why does he blame everyone and everything besides himself now RVP lost his cool so we are without him Sagna,Walcott and Adebayor against Utd maybe we would start with Nicklas Bendtner and Carlos Vela in attack Wilshere and Nasri would start on the wings  grin and now back to Vela these injuries and suspension just may work in his favor of what use is bringing him to england if his plan was to let him rot on the bench

Even Martin Kewon has given up on this team what else is there to say?The draw-cum loss against Tottenham has worked against us and worked for Tottenham i just wonder when these guys would learn because another trophyless season and i assure you even the fans would start calling for Wenger's head

One more thing i think Sharp has to be Arsene's favorite word tongue he uses it all the time in post-match interviews

Its funny how things change in the space of six days i won't right this team off totally i would only do that if we don't get a result against Utd

and that would be a mammoth task!!

but our performances against top teams has always been half decent so i would be clinging on that believe till then!
Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by A40(m): 2:09am On Nov 02, 2008
That would be a very difficult task but every once in a while Arsenal get results when you least expect so lets wait and see

I have supported AW all this while and I just have a feeling that he may just have taken us as far as he can.
The EPL has changed. You need a massive squad to win, some of our first team players this season are not just good enough.
AW at times.
How can he say that RVP's madness shouldn't be a red card
Only a miracle annd bizzare slip ups by the other big three can allow us back into the race.
For now, we may start looking at the cup competitions
Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by debosky(m): 11:44am On Nov 02, 2008
It's very simple, AW doesn't have confidence in this squad, he essentially PANICKED with his selection yesterday.

playing Denilson and Diaby as wingers?? When BOTH Walcott and Nasri are fit?? It was sheer suicide, going for it might have gotten a few early goals allowing the team to settle down, but he panicked and went so conservative that we created NOTHING in this game, heck the goal came from TWO massive deflections.

Now Ade and Walcott have 'very bad' injuries (not too sad about Ade really) so hopefully we'll see Bendtner + Vela against MU, that's if the old fox doesn't go ultra conservative again and play the rubbish formation from yesterday.

I hate to admit it, but he gambled too much this season - from having a Flamini in the side who could ably partner Cesc, to Song and Denilson, who, for their potential, are just not good enough yet to partner Cesc. Playing Diaby as a winger has to be the most annoying and consistent piece of madness by Wenger - he just keeps doing it.

There's no doubt that the league challenge is over, but if we fail to sort out the Cesc situation then we are in deep kaka. He simply has not been up to his usual best this season, apart from two or three games. Either the boy needs a rest or Wenger needs to get the right partner for him. I will be forever puzzled as to why Diaby did not partner Cesc last night with either Nasri or Walcott starting.

Seems AW has decided Nasri cannot play outside London, another sign of his lack of confidence in this squad.

Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by ndumart: 12:52pm On Nov 02, 2008
In as much as the title race is still wide open, it is no longer in Arsenal's hands cos they have to win their games and pray their rivals slip up in as many matches. This is definitely a tall order.
This is a d moment to see how AW brings his intelligence to play

Hopelessly Devoted!

I told all y'all to expect nada from Arsene Wenger this season. That guy does not see anything wrong with not winning. He's contented with the way things are going

Cheese n Rice. . . . . . .

Y'all Gaynners have to be patient and stop these gloomy comments. . . . Arsenal are only 6 points adrift of the league leaders so what gives?

Without the "rough em up" tactics and set piece reliance that many teams use in England to unsettle arsenal, i wouldn't be surprised to see them go a long way in europe where the refs are stricter on that kind of bullying.
I agree with the fact that Wenger has been stubborn and his inability to find a good replacement(A pitbull in the midst of Arsenal's puppies) is the worst transfer in Fort Wenger. Letting Diarra and Gilberto leave Arsenal was also bad business in me opinion but things would get better.

It is not possible for Chelsea/Liverpool to win ALL their remaining games. It has not been the ideal start for Arsenal but with Liverpool losing the gap is just 6 points.
Agreed they haven't played the other contenders yet but their game is more suited to playing the bigger teams as they get space to attack as the opponents attack themselves.
As a United fan I will not discount them out of it. Anyone who has watched football for a while knows Arsenal on their day can beat any of the big boys home or away. It is going to be tough but its not the end of the league when they still have 81 points to play for. 6 points can be made up.

@Sauron
You have a point even though our inconsistencies against the smaller teams might do us in but to totally write this team off from 11 matches i just can't do it i just hope Arsene learns from his earlier stupidity but the question is does he ever learn?

I wonder if Stroke has affected our Physio and Website Admin's because they are yet to update us on the injury situation of Sagna,Adebayor and Walcott

People said the same about Chelsea last season when Grant took over and they were playing 4-4 against Villa at SB and 4-4 at White Hart Lane.
Chelsea were not even considered title challengers this time last season. . . . It was seen as a 2 horse race but they turned it around.
If Wenger can stay within 5 points of the league leaders till January and add 2 DMF and one defender, they would challenge.

Exactly!! its just too early to say it is totally over that is my point we have gone just about 20 KM in a 100KM journey the league is never won or lost in early November thats the spirit i am hoping these fellow gunners have a six points lead can vanish within 3 or 4 matches

I can remember when they where drawing with the likes of Fulham,Blackburn and Everton at the Bridge who didn't write them off?

The only problem here is does Wenger agree his squad is incomplete and needs to buy come Janaury? if he does then there is hope

He gast to agree. . . . . . .Everyone knew about Rory Delap's throws asides Wenger. I just don't know why he didn't have a plan for Rory Delap.
Anutha thing is his tight-fistedness. . . . .When dough is available, why not spend it. Who is he saving the transfer fees for.
Wenger has turned Arsenal to a TALENT AGENCY which is not doing the outfit any good.

I am sure when Wenger ejaculates. . . .He only spurts the ones needed to fertilise(he saves the remaining for anutha time). grin cheesy

The Stoke - Arsenal match of yday was a one-off. On a very good day, Arsenal team B will decimate Stoke. Though football is not seen that way. I feel the gaffer didnt manage the Diarra affair too well. He should have given him enough playing time instead of using him in carling cup matches of which his standard is above.

AW's recruitment policy to me is faulty. U sell off ur good players and buy budding talents who need time to mature. The problem started when he let go off Campbell, Pires, Vieira, Edu, Wiltord, Cole, Henry, Flamini, Hleb, Gilberto season after season without commensurate replacements for them.

And why would he spend money no matter how little to bring in players like Ramsey and Bischoff when he knows he won't use them. If they are not premiership class then why buy them in the first instance.

The season is still very young to write any team off. The big teams will cancel out each other making the title race go down to the wire. Being 6 points behind the leaders after eleven matches is better than being 6 points with 11 matches to go.

Exactly!! its just too early to say it is totally over

I disagree with you man
IT IS OVER
You cannot draw an analogy between where we are today and where chelshit was this time last season (don't forget they've always had  strength in depth through and through, they only had a jerky start to the season because the asshole called mourinho was beefing his boss and the players were confused where to align and it reflected on the field of play)

Our present scenario is totally different from the above.

Bischoff is no longer injured.
In fact, he played a reserve match some few weeks ago, along with Silvestre.
Aw must feel he ain't good enough to play first team footie yet.
I am sure he will play against Wigan in the CC on November 11.
