(1) Head of Internal Control - Africa
All Business Units - Lagos

The Role: Head of Internal Control - Africa

If you are looking for a new challenge with a reputable market leader that would offer you stability and strongly encourage you to grow with them, this is for you. The successful candidate for this would be responsible for:

    * Initially heading up the Internal Audit function for PZ Nigeria, which consists of an internal control team and a procedures team. The candidate is with time expected to take on a leadership role for PZ Africa, i.e. co-ordinate the Internal Audit work for the operations in Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya.
    * Developing and managing the Internal Audit Plan and Program for the 5 legal entities, 9 separate manufacturing units and 26 distribution centres in Nigeria.
    * Leading an internal audit team that consists of circa 15 persons. Co-ordinate the work and ensure the development of the team members.
    * Ensuring that all required control procedures are put in place and verify that these are being followed.
    * Analyzing and identifying ongoing audit matters, plus take the leadership to ensure that these are resolved.
    * Maintaning Nigeria’s operating policies and authorizations.
    * Ensuring that a clear and consistent reporting process is put in place together with the head-office team.
    * Reporting on audit matters to audit committee, executive management and head office.
    * Liaising with external auditors.
    * Specific project activity.

The person:

The ideal candidate for this position should:

    * Have the personal leadership required to head up a sizable Internal Audit function and turn it into a world class function.
    * Have a minimum of Second Class Lower Degree in Accounting, Finance or any related discipline.
    * Have ICAN, ACCA or similar qualification and possess expert knowledge of IAS / SAS.
    * Possess a minimum of 8 years relevant experience, where at least some of the time has been spent heading up a sizable Internal Audit function. Prior manufacturing experience is key; external audit and FMCG experience an advantage.
    * Have prior accounting and production software experience, preferably in MFG / Pro.
    * Have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
    * Be calm and mature with very high ethics.
    * Have excellent presentation skills.
    * Have good interpersonal skills.

    * Have a sound costing and manufacturing knowledge. Prior financial analysis experience is of advantage.

The Role: New Product Development Manager The ideal candidate would be required to:

    * Deliver the minimum pre-determined percentage gross margin for each project within the agreed time
    * Monitor new projects and ensure they align with business objectives
    * Ensure timely delivery of all projects
    * Ensure the effective management of all resources in the execution of  projects
    * Manage team and individual performance through regular reviews, monitor objectives and ensure development needs are identified and actioned
    * Work cross functionally and cross regionally.

The Person:  The ideal candidate for this role must:

    * Be experienced in using MS Project and AutoCAD
    * Be  between 31 – 36 years old
    * Have high standards of time management & organizational skills
    * Have proven record of managing teams to achieve and complete projects
    * Possess a minimum of second class lower degree in  the sciences, M.Sc. in Project Management
    * Have acquired 5 – 9 years related experience in an FMCG / Food manufacturing company.

(4) IT Operation Manager

Role:  IT Operations Manager

In this position, the individual will coordinate the datacenters and monitor standards and progress of all datacenter activities, the job holder will ensure that work undertaken and scheduled tasks are carried out to world class standard and in a timely fashion. The individual will undertake additional responsibility for System Administration and the smooth running of the Preventive Maintenance activities:

The successful candidate for this position will be required to:

·          Plan and execute transfers based on Application Change Management Methodology into production of systems.

·          Execute and control scheduled jobs and manage backup.

·          Oversee that audits trails and other information security control data are generated, reviewed and retained effectively and efficiently.

·          Effect changes without disruption by ensuring Unix/MFG access changes are carried out on the basis of authorized forms and such changes have a match with security matrix.

·          Acquire and install Hardware and Software components (workstation, office systems, servers and network components) as budgeted to ensure that day-to-day needs are met and a prompt response to business requirements.

·          Review and address potential information security issues and/or conflicting practices, as identified by internal and/or external audits and other observations.

·          Recommend improvements for reliability and world class performance.

·          Configure and manage IT infrastructure in order to maintain high level of performance and availability, while minimizing the impact of disruptions on all business activities.

The Person:

The right candidate for this job must:

·          Have a Bachelor's degree from a reputable university.

·          Possess basic technical/business training completed with an appropriate computer training syllabus. Membership of a relevant professional body will be an added advantage.

·          Have 5-8 years post NYSC experience of which 3 must be in a similar position.

·          Be experienced in Windows and Unix Administration in an international and growing business environment.

·          Have experience of disaster recovery plan in a manufacturing environment.

·          Have an expert knowledge of the administration of ERP (MFG is an added  advantage).

·          Posses a sound  knowledge of Database administration SQLserver minimum.

·          Have IT security awareness.
