Ive registered in here as I'd like to ask a question , I live in the UK and in two months I'm going to marry a Nigerian guy. I've been thinking what about a citisehnship? I mean a Nigerian citizenship? Would I get it? Or would I have to apply for it? I've been searching for some info on the internet but I couldn't find anything. Cld u pls help me?

I wouldn't be so eager to get the Nigerian Citizenship. Why exactly are you keen on getting one. That said, it should be pretty straight forward to get once you get married.

Olaremit: why do u say so? and why should i concider him better than any other one just because where he comes from? Of course I concsider him as the best guy in the world but definitely not because of his origin.

girl i tell u, u don't need a nigerian citizenship once u marry the guy u don't have a problem and even if u don't i'm not sure they bother so much about things like that over here once u are in the country u are there. and if i were u i won't be bother about citizenship cos u might end up regreting when u get it

I do not plan to live in Nigeria but problaby i ll end up living there anyway. If not i (or rather we) will be travelling from Nigeria to the UK and from the Uk to Nigeria. I've been just wondering if that wouldn't be a problem when i don't have ur citizenship. smiley

narathiel if you are serious about getting a nigerian citizenship then go to your consulate or embassy in nigeria or you mmight try the ministry of internal affairs. i now know you don't lov the naija bloke.

Nigeria is a wonderful country in its own way ,but i as a nigeria with my Nigeria passport there isn't really much i can do with it only when i am going to Nigeria that i can use it without a visa.
