I think Chelse would learn how to be prudent from the champions. Even the bible condemns wastefulness. grin grin grin

wormedup:

yeah;
i guess we can rightfully say they had to wait for the glazers to pump in some millions to aid them achieve that feat tongue

If that's to be considered, then Chelsea ought to have won again considering the aggregate worth of the players on the pitch for each match. grin grin grin

seriously, more than anything, manutd deserves more applause for winning the league this season.
like fergie rightly said, winning the league this year is special in so many ways.
one thing, cos we last won in like 2 years ago.

but for me, the reason this title is special is cos of the way the team improved massively in just one season with little or no addition at all, save for carrick (can remember i called him a turkey when he came. . .lol) and 3 months of Henrik Larsson.

Liverpool added Kuyt, Bellamy, Gonzalez and some others i cant remember.
Arsenal added Gallas, Baptista. . . .
Chelsea famously added the european player of the year, Shevvy, added Michael Ballack. . .  cool

All of the players impressed me so much. more than anybody is Patrice Evra. That guy should be celebrated more than wat he's getting. he is a fighter and a pure footballer.

Would come back and give more on all my fav players of the season, but Evra proved his worth to me this season.
Vidic too. . .

PROUDLY UNITED cool

Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by jgirl3: 4:44pm On May 07, 2007
Please can someone explain to me why Chelsea is talking?
They've only won 3 premiership titles since they've existed yet they are comparing themselves to Liverpool (18), Man Utd. (16) and Arsenal (13). These people don't even know their seniors. hisssssssssssssssssss
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by manu4laif: 4:55pm On May 07, 2007
As it is Wednesday's game is meaningless to both teams and the League standings. It would however be nice to beat them at the bridge. Again another fantastic script. I'm however more interested in May 19th. . . ."we are going to Wembullyyy"

WAN UNITED grin grin grin
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by rikkyjen(m): 5:05pm On May 07, 2007
Once again let me say; "Congratulations to Manchester United!!" You were far and wide the best team in the Prem this year!! (still kicked your a@@es home and away though  But thats all history now).

@ Loyika, scrolling down your congratulatory message, i knew you were still going to add a caveat like statement. Anywayz, congratulations acknowledged and accepted. Hope your team would be a worthy challenger nextseason, rather than the spectator you guys have been in the last 2 seasons!  wink cheesy grin
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by justkunmi(m): 5:22pm On May 07, 2007
awww, thats harsh, rikky shocked
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by manu4laif: 9:54pm On May 07, 2007
Loyika's congratulation is a 2 fingered ,half elbow embrace. . . . formal, impersonal,bolaoni/manu4laif-induced. grin grin grin grin

But I accept . . .even though the goons refused to accept mine in January. lipsrsealed cool

I hope next season will see all blazing from the start. We realised that this season. Hope others do next term cool
