The maths thing got me confused. Ghana has a better head to head than DR Congo (on away goals rule) the only team possible of finishing on equal points with them. but still FIFA on her site refuses to acknowledge them has having qualified yet http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/t/team/qualified.html . well anyway big ups to Ghana. mathematically, ghana has not qualified. realistically, they have. same situation with nigeria and angola. mathematically angola haven't, realistically they have. "makgod": well, if nigeria does qualify, i'll become a ghanaian till the world cup is over. |

ok i just saw this: http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/050915/1/4npf.html it tells u everthing u need to know about how teams that are qualified are selected. it explains d head to head stuff and others. it's a really good read and will cure alot of ignorance out there. it sure did cure mine. peace! |
