In addition to what I explained to Samguine, Prosthetics is the science of fabricating artificial devices to replace missing or diseased body part.

In my own case, that body portion must be responsible for muscoloskeletal and neuromuscular participation. That is, it must be related to bones for movement and the muscles they carry. If therd is weakness or absence of any, we, Prosthetics and Orthotics, come in.
