have it scanned, change all fluids, timing belt, and water pump and get your own records for maintenance and follow them.

Hello gurus in the house, I just got an ATF from the US but definitely not recommended for my Transmission(lexus es330 06). Can I use it as my power steering fluid as manufacturer says ATF Dexron II or III....below is what my manual says about power steering fluid and the said fluid in picture....

Good Afternoon Oga Gazzuz! Kindly let me have your view on the following. I intend to run e-hailing service, and I have just these two cars to choose from (honda accord 05 model with automatic transmission and accord 06 with manual transmission). I am settling for either of them as result of available fund. Thanks in advance.

Hi Everyone, please I'm about getting a Nigerian Used 2004 Honda Accord.. It's going to be my first car. I need candid and real life opinions between the I4 engine and the V6 engine.. Which is better to go for? Considering maintenance and fuel economy and all.. Please your contributions would be highly appreciated. Thanks

Ogas in the house. My car lost power while i was driving, i tried to start it a couple of times after it stopped, i later got a kasim to check it, and he confirmed that the timing bet was cut,

What is the worst thing i should expect considering that i tried to start it a couple of times after it cut? I have read a lot of dreadful stories about timing belt complications. Car is honda accord 2009 V6.

Thanks.

Hello everyone,

I use a Honda 2006 model. I’ve been having this constant issues with car overheating when I switch on the AC. However, it is every important to note that I’ve done everything possible to to rectify this anomaly. Basically, all necessary cooling stuffs are working. The fan is working perfect (2 fans), I’ve had the radiator washed out (which is a double cell radiator).. But the car overheats while the Ac is On still. It sometimes goes off while in motion.. I’ve to switch off the AC and after a minute or two, car picks off.

Highlight

1) Car overheating inspites having the fan working perfect, double cell radiator watched out recently, and as well as radiator coolant. It’s important to note that the fan Belt is working perfect.

2) When the AC is on, if the car doesn’t overheat in motion, it sometimes goes off abruptly. Until I switch off the AC and wait for few minutes before it picks up.

I’ve spent lot of money on trial and error mechanics but not sure what the exact cause might be. I’m considering changing the Fuel pump but I don’t wanna waste money since the exact cause isn’t identified yet.

Kindly help cause the weather is hot and need 24/7 AC while driving. Thanks in advance...

A proper check of your cooling system will have to be carried out. I don't think it's fuel pressure related. Save your money for the pump. Take vehicle to a proper workshop in your locality.

Good morning Mr Gazzuzz.
2013 RAV4 refuses to move when Reverse gear is engaged, it only moves when Drive is engaged.
I changed the shaft on the driver's side on Saturday, it worked that day cos I did a test drive within the compound.
But yesterday when I drove out, the issue came up. Please what do I do. Thanks

Sorry sir please break this down, what’s the solution.
Should I change the ATF? Cos that’s what the mechanic recommends. Car was gotten in 2014, ATF has never been changed. Which ATF do I buy? Thank you.

It's worse. It's not a local mechanic thing, you will need a gear specialist. Let's see what a gear specialist has to say.

Pls i need help.
My Kia Rio that was not cooling well, the two left vents blows only air while the two right ones blow hot air. I took it to Jakande last week and the guys changed the whole hose and flushed the condenser. It was night when he finished and on the drive home,it was working fine. Fast forward the next day, none of the vents are working. It was so hot that i abandoned the car at my office. I brought it home later and it chills at night and early mornings but in the sunny afternoon, it blows HOT air.
Pls what can be the problem?

I’ve patronize a couple of workshops I know are the best but all to no avail.. that’s how one idiot said I needed to change my radiator to a double cell meanwhile it’s a double cell already lol. He though i had no idea. So basically, I need to know the exact cause so that I’ll work on it...

Could it be compressor ?

No, it cannot be compressor. It may be due to condenser though. But like I said, this is not for remote diagnosis. Get a proper diagnosis/fix in a good workshop.

The problem here is finding a good workshop and proper diagnosis to this effect. I live in Ibadan and I’ve exhausted all my possible options. A good recommendation/referral would be appreciated.
